My first encounter with wikipedia was around 2007 when I was searching for Nanotechnology it is one of the things I am interested in, my contributions are modest, but I'm a big fan of Wikipedia & BTW I suffer from Wikipediholism.
I edit wikipedia articles on a wide variety of categories. I usually come across articles because they caught my interest or because I wanted to check or learn something, not because I have any special expertise. I also come across articles suggested to me by suggestbot if you are a wikipedian then you should use it as its suggestions are almost perfect.
I try to be careful with my contributions, and the slightest change takes me forever, but I still screw up sometimes, so apologies for any mistakes I make, and thank you for correcting them!.
I love the basic concept of Wikipedia and I also try to constantly encourage others to contribute.
Feel free to leave me a message on my Talk page. I don't bite usually!!!
I love playing video games and some of my favorite ones are Hitman, GTA, Counter Strike, Freedom Fighters. I have played them like thousands of times over and over again!!!.
There are also some classic games that I used to play a lot in my childhood they are IceLander, Tanks and Mario out of which Mario was my favorite, I guess it was everybody's favorite at that time :).
In January 2015 I got a new ASUS Zenfone Smartphone, and which I've used to take pictures and contribute to Wikipedia and to Wikimedia Commons.
This user thinks they might have too many userboxes. Oh well...

Nothing annoys this user more than when a teacher says that Wikipedia isn't reliable and that anybody can enter anything completely untrue that'll stay.

A redirect is a page that has the sole purpose to automatically redirect readers to a differently named page; to take the reader where they really wanted to go. Redirects allow a topic to have more than one title. Redirects are used for synonyms, abbreviations (initialisms), acronyms, accented terms (diacritics), misspellings, typos, nicknames (pseudonyms), scientific names, etc.
To create a redirect for the term "Oof":
Type Oof in the search box, press ↵ Enter
Click on the redlink for Oof that it presents
In the edit window that appears, type #REDIRECT [[Foo]] on the first line to make it lead to the article Foo
Redirects should be organized in to categories too. Each redirect can have up to seven redirect categories. Categories go on the third line of the redirect. (Note: Plant has a subcategory within the category of scientific name; enter plant after a pipe).
Here are two examples of a redirect category using a category template:
{{R from birth name}}
{{R from scientific name|plant}}
Preview your new redirect before saving it. Make sure:
There is a big right-facing arrow to the left of the bolded name of your target page name.
That your target page is bolded in blue (if it is red, go back and double check your target name in the edit window).
That your redirect category has rendered properly and that the boilerplate it presents makes sense.
To add this auto-updating template to your user page, use {{totd}}
