When a young girl was approached by a crazy traveller, he used railroad spikes to stop her from moving. The girl was never freed but at that time Harvest was and spent the next 60 years trying to get vengeance. Harvest, who was a urban myth, is a spirit that, when called for, punishes the bad and heals the good. According to the story, if someone calls for her when the moon is out, then she appears to hunt a sinner that has not been punished, leaving her name in blood for the victim to see then draining their life and uses it to heal people in need, who are mostly children[1].

The first she was heard of was in Peo Ridge, Kansas where a few of her victims had appeared over the years and that led to the Birds of Prey investigating into her. They attacked her, but she drained a small part of Black Canary's life force but was shot a few times by Lady Blackhawk[1]. She quickly healed from the bullet wounds. Meanwhile, the Birds of Prey found out that she had been came to heal a child. She was eventually defeated by Black Canary's scream, which drove her away[2]. Harvest later appeared in France.

Harvest (New 52)[edit]

This version of Harvest was from 30th century and came back in time to kill all the metahumans on Earth. He created an organisation called N.O.W.H.E.R.E where he gathered metahuman kids and pitted them against each other in an event called the Culling[4]. The Teen Titans found out about Harvest and N.O.W.H.E.R.E and eventually defeated him along with the help of the Legion Lost[5].
