Hello, I am Mediadimension ("Media dimension"). I had been visiting Wikipedia for a long time before I finally decided to join and contribute to the website with as much information as possible, so it can keep going. But I'm not happy with the way articles keep getting deleted or removed!

About me[edit]

My name is Tito Chavez. I am 35 years old (born on Saturday, July 21, 1984 - I'm a Cancer) and Mexican-American. I was born in San Francisco and currently living in Benicia, California (it's pronounced ben-E-sha, NOT ben-ISH-ah - a descendant of the town's namesake made it very clear!).

I'm a nerd, and I'm proud of it! I wear glasses (because I'm nearsighted). I have a geeky interest in cartoons, comic books, anime, manga, movies, and video games. I (still) live with my parents. I started writing some fan fictions, they can be read in FanFiction.Net. I go to TV Tropes to give me ideas for my cartoons and fanfics.

I like to draw and doodle. Most of my drawings can be seen in my gallery in deviantArt. My dream is to become a cartoonist and create my own animated series, and work on comic books on the side.

I'm currently a college student in Solano Community College. When I'm finished with that, I will go to Diablo Valley College and eventually transfer to the Academy of Art University at last.

We had a pet chihuahua named Chúy. We had to put him to sleep. He was almost 13 years old (81 in dog years). I was the one who thought of his name after my family and I tried to think of other possible names for him. That name was actually partially inspired by Chewbacca, since his nickname "Chewie" sounded like "Chúy" (à la Fools Rush In). I learned that Chúy is another name for Jesús.

My interests[edit]

My favorite kind of fiction are one that have child superheroes and long-running story arcs.

I like spy fiction, like the James Bond movies. The best James Bonds are Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. Donald Pleasence is the best Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

I'm open-minded with conspiracy theories (or as refer to as a whole, "conspiracy theory") that involves aliens, UFOs, the Men in Black, the Illuminati, secret governments trying to cover things up, and secret societies bent on controlling/dominating the world. I believe!

I'm also fascinated with the paranormal: like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and Mothman.

I love the concepts of the shared universe and worldbuilding with archetypes, e.g. DC Universe, Marvel Universe, Buffyverse (my favorite alternate term is Slayerverse), the Mickey Mouse/Scrooge McDuck universe, and the Wold Newton family.

I like science fiction. My favorite is the space opera subgenre, like Star Trek and Star Wars. I also like the 50s' sci-fi concepts like bug-eyed monsters and little green men.

I'm interested in medieval fantasy adventures about knights, wizards, dragons, elves, dwarfs, giants, magic swords, etc.

I am fascinated with beautiful/handsome angelic warriors with large feathery wings using archaic weapons (such as maces, spears, bow-and-arrows, swords, and shields).

I like fiction about sexy white jungle girls like Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, Shanna the She-Devil, and Jungle Girl (Dynamite Entertainment).

My favorite type of weapons are the staff (stick) and spears. Spears can also be used in stick fighting.

My favorite comic book writers/artists are Jack Kirby, Ed McGuinness, Bruce Timm, Alex Ross, David Lafuente, Mark Waid, Grant Morrison, and Alan Moore. And favorite DC comics eras are the Silver Age and Bronze Age.

My favorite cartoonists are Stephen Silver, Butch Hartman, Craig McCracken, and Chris Battle.

I love Keith Haring, M.C. Escher, Day of the Dead art, and Japanese art.

I like the painting Nighthawks by Edward Hopper.

My favorite superheroes are Hawkman (Katar Hol) and Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol). Kara Zor-El and Linda Danvers are my favorite Supergirls. I like X-Men, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Fantastic Four, Blade (comics), and Spider-Girl. My favorite comic series is Ultimate Spider-Man. I also like other non-DC/Marvel comics, like Spawn (comics) when it was much popular then. I still think he's cool. I also like Danger Girl, Tech Jacket, Planetary (comics), Powers (comics), and American Born Chinese. My favorite comics are Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour (comics), Batman versus Predator, and JLA/Avengers.

I also like Alien (franchise), Terminator (franchise), Planet of the Apes, Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse, Indiana Jones franchise (the movies and the Young Indiana Jones series), Transformers (fiction), and Godzilla (the original Japanese monster and the American version).

My favorite male voice actors are: Will Friedle, Jason Marsden, Ron Perlman, Danny Cooksey, Jensen Ackles (as Jason Todd in Batman: Under the Red Hood), Kevin Conroy (he's the GODDAMN Batman), Mark Hamill, Michael Rosenbaum, William Conrad (he narrated a lot of shows and documentaries), and Scott Menville.
