On the Afrikaans Wiki, I am doing a lot of work on updating the taxonomy information of animal and plant species. We use a translated template , af:Sjabloon:Taksoboks instead of the original en:Template:Taxobox. There are still a lot (>180) of pages that use the old Taxobox template. Three main changes are needed:

• Change the name of the infobox template from Taxobox to Taksoboks
• Remove the color = ... attribute in the template. The newer version of the template automatically changes the color according to the regnum = ... attribute value.
• In Edit summary include the descriptive text : Taksoboks opdateer meaning: Taxobox updated.

See this for an example of a manually changed page (ignore the status=... attribute change).

If your bot could handle this it would be a great help.

Philately WikiProject

Is your bot capable of replacing the word "Philately" with "WikiProject Philately" in the template {{Philately}} because it is redundant having been replaced with {{WikiProject Philately}}?
