Smart Camera is a camera device which is capable of uploading and sharing photos online via built-in Wi-Fi or LTE (3G)connection. These devices often sport Android operating system. Smart camera manufacturers such as Samsung or Sony strategically differentiate their smart camera product lines with products that include the newest features of camera functions and the latest version of the operating system.[1]
Origin of the Term[edit]
The definition of ‘smart’ in technology is constantly changing. ‘Smart’ used to describe new and disruptive products, however,it has a much more specific definition now that constant streams of new devices are being introduced to the market. “Smart in smart phones, smart supplementary products, and smart electronics takes on a whole new meaning of “second creation”, the result of synergistic combination or integration of existing products or concepts. If smart devices of the past tended to isolate each individual users into what is called “cyber-cocoons”, new smart devices focus on expanding communication by making inter-user interaction and sharing of contents more seamless.
Smart camera epitomizes trends in new smart technology. Not only do consumers share their photographs taken with the devices, they are also able to communicate real-time local happenings or news in their locations, and exchange opinions on various subjects with the device. For example, users can alert the scene of an accident or hazard such as fire, share performance reviews of concerts or plays. If smart phones expanded ways in which blogs were used, smart camera expanded the ways photographs can be used for communication. Pre-smart phone blogs were mainly used to record past memories or opinions; smart phones made live-reporting and communication of current affairs possible. Pictures predating smart cameras were only used to visually capture a moment, but now smart cameras can bolster pictures by allowing real-time communication.
A smart camera is a device which satisfies users’changing desires and fulfills various types of demands. An amazing facet of smart phones is their ability to provide features and applications for users to utilize while maximizing user friendliness at any time. By using these applications it allows us to expand our possibilities. In other words, digital devices can become human thought. Since creativity is involved, it means it can read ahead for possibilities. For example, we are able to find any number of different characteristics and looks even between people who use the same types of smart phones. Smart cameras draw attention by providing cutting-edge technology such as built-in LTE, professional features with interchangeable lenses, capacity for a widespread of consumers, accessibility for users with the open-source Android, network service features that differentiate from other telecommunication agencies despite high prices.
The Main Feature[edit]
After taking photographs, sharing them throughout SNS such as Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, or emailing and sending them out to mobile devices in real time is available. Furthermore, you can control your smart camera simply by using remote viewfinder.
