Buried Life Entertainment (BLE)[edit]

Buried Life Entertainment (BLE) was formed in 2013 by founders Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood, Duncan Penn and Jonnie Penn, it is described as a one-for-one full service production company. Their mandate is “to lead a new wave of young content creators producing mainstream content and helping others.”

Their first show ‘The Buried Life’ on MTV aired in over 100 countries, toted by the New York Times as "MTV for the era of Obama". [1]


Television Development:

In 2014 BLE sold untiled unscripted series about hipsters to VH1, co-producing with Pilgrim Entrainment.

In 2014 BLE sold a scripted property titled 'Letterkenny' to Bell Media, co-producing with Jared Keeso and New Metric Media. [2]

BLE are currently in co-production partnerships with Morgan Spurlock’s Warrior Poets, Morgan Freeman’s Revelations, Trium, Pilgrim, Tricon, Lionsgate and Goodbye Pictures developing series for VH1, MTV, HGTV, National Geographic, Comedy Network.

In 2014, BLE partnered with Play Management in Vancouver to develop content around their talent.

BLE have built award-winning campaigns pro-social campaigns for Verizon Wireless [3], Nikon[4], Pizza Hut[5], Orbit[6], Levi's[7], Subaru [8], Creative Recreation[9], American Family Insurance [10], HTC and Contiki [11].

Publishing: In 2013 BLE launched their first book titled ‘What Do You Want to do Before You Die?' with Artisan Workman Publishing. The book became a #1 New York Times Bestseller. (link)
