Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 76.75.43.202, has made edits to Jessica Barth that do not conform to our policies and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors.

You don't have to log in to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask the Help Desk, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! JesseRafe (talk) 14:12, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm IJBall. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Elizabeth McLaughlin, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! --IJBall (contribstalk) 16:42, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Songs[edit]

Hi, and a belated welcome. I reversed your good faith edits on the National symbols template. From their pages they don't seem to be nationally recognized long-term national symbols, although this is just an opinion. Maybe a discussion on the National symbols of the United States page would clarify for both of us. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:45, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

February 2019[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Jurassic World, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at All Star (song), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Yes, the song was used in a film. However, nothing in the article supports the category stating that it was written for a film. SummerPhDv2.0 22:40, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Sunshine (2007 film). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:18, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please stop adding a films distributor as a category to film articles. If you read Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Categorization#General categorization you will see item 4 reads "by studio – this is exclusively for the studio(s) that produced the film". This goes with the instructions at WP:CATDEF where it states "A central concept used in categorising articles is that of the defining characteristics of a subject of the article" - so the point is that the company that produces a film is a defining characteristic since they are involved with all aspects of its creation - the company that distributes it is not. Except in the case where the production company also distributes it the distributor only gets involved after the film is finished. Your cooperation in this will be appreciated.
