Ancient Mamodo and other Zatch Bell articles[edit]

  • Thanks for your help here. There are a bunch of anonymous users actively trying to ruin these articles, and someone needs to keep a lookout :) JuJube 23:31, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning[edit]

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:49, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Regarding ALL of your edits to every Zatch Bell Article[edit]

Quite simple, actually. I tried editing the English pages before, but they kept on being edited back. So, for the fanbase of the original anime, I'm reconstructing a seperate net of pages for the Jap fans. You can still access the English dub stuff, so just leave the jap stuff alone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buh6173 (talkcontribs)

Anime on wikipedia is left in it's Japanese format.[edit]

Look at One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, etc. Gash Bell has been leniant on this, so it's all right; but I'm trying to make a seperate set of pages for the jap fans, so please leave the pages alone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buh6173 (talkcontribs)

Image copyright problem with Image:Ankama_logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ankama_logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thanks, will fix the NigerianWiki article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drbrimah (talkcontribs)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Ankama logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ankama logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:51, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of participants of the Pokémon WikiProject is quite sizable, however, there is no way to determine which of whom are active contributors to that project. All participants in the list have been moved to Inactive. If you consider yourself to be an active member of the Pokémon WikiProject, please go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants and move your username to the Active section. Thank you. Donkey Kong Wii[edit]

Regarding your comment for that AfD -- The sources that turned up in the previous Donkey Kong Wii AfD actually turned out to be for another game, so you might want to reconsider your !vote. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 19:21, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting your edit =/= vandalism[edit]

I somehow doubt the actual admins would consider it appropriate for you to be threatening to block users (which you don't actually have the authority to do) for reverting you.
Also, simply redirecting one article to another is not a merge. Merging requires actually adding at least some of the content from one article to the other. 71.203.209.0 (talk) 01:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, AcroX. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The discussion is about the topic Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Abuse of vandalism template by User:AcroX. Thank you. --Kralizec! (talk) 03:17, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just wanted to inform you that the Fadayan-e Islam group linked to in the article is not the same group claiming responsibility. That group is a defunct pre-Revolution Iranian group. The group claiming responsibility has never been heard of before until claiming this attack. The article and the source cited (Seen here) both confirm this fact. Thank you. -----RDavi404 (talk) 15:23, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"by far" - Esperanto[edit]

Take a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Esperanto&curid=9248&action=history

I agree with your position, but the edits have caused an edit war. I believe we all should discuss that in the article's talk page. --Antonielly (talk) 16:09, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir[edit]

She hasn't been confirmed, simply because the new government hasn't been confirmed, but unless something big happens and the talks currently in progress fall through, she will become the next Prime Minister of Iceland. All citations would be in Icelandic. Vegfarandi (talk) 02:56, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging of Article on Iona Prep[edit]

I am the person who wrote the football history on Iona Prep, and I am NOT a member of the school personnel. I am an alumnus of Iona Prep who has seen the football team in action in person every year since 1957. I took much of the information from my archives and from local newspaper microfilm.

I'm a little confused on why you think the football sections are too long. You state that there is too much information on the football history. I didn't think that is was possible for ANY encyclopedia to contain too much knowledge or information. I concede that the article is slanted towards the football program, but football is the king of schoolboy sports. I don't really follow the basketball or baseball teams at Iona Prep, so it is not possible for me to upload information on those activities.

I hope that I'm still alive to watch Iona Prep's football team in action on its one hundredth anniversary in 2016.

Spelling[edit]

My spell checker insists that "premièred" requires the accent to be spelled right. I did think it odd but I assumed it knew what it was talking about. If your spell checker is happy without the accent then I am happy to leave it. Please check and change it back if necessary. --DanielRigal (talk) 23:57, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
