Do not relist AFD discussions right now that aren't due to be closed until hours later tomorrow. This is disruptive. Closers usually look at closing discussions when they are due to be closed and you are setting them ahead by a week where no closers will see them again for days and days. Hi @Liz, I remember some AfDs getting closed or relisted after 6 or a few hours earlier than 7 days, and since there was minimal participation in all three AfDs I relisted, I thought this would not pose a problem. Asking for opinions (GA article)

Hi, I noticed that one of the things you do is proofread articles for Good Article status. I'm thinking of submitting articles related to sumo and am currently working on improving the one on yobidashi. I'd like to have your opinion on the level of this article so that I can submit it for GA status at a later date. Would this article be appropriate at this level? Thank you for reaching out. This would not exactly constitute copy editing, but when I skimmed through the article, I have noticed that there are some sentences that lack references. For example, the last sentence of the first paragraph in Yobidashi#Responsibilities and the last sentence of Yobidashi#Ring names lack references. I guess most of the sources are from news agencies and magazines, so you might want to include sources that are more specialized in the subject. You might also want to expand the lead a little bit so that it outlines the major points of the article. Overall, it looks good. During the GA review, there will most likely be some "proofreading," so unless the article needs a lot of work in terms of wording, I think it's better if these points are addressed instead before copy editing. Thanks for the feedback, I've updated the article following your comments. I'd also like to clarify a few things concerning the sources. To my knowledge, there are no specialist magazine articles or books devoted entirely to yobidashi, with the exception of "Discover Sumo: Stories From Yobidashi Hideo" (Yamaki, Hideo - 2017, ISBN 978-4768457986), but the latter is not available and I do not own the book. I am therefore obliged to use books, often dated, on sumo in general where the yobidashi subject may not be very developed because they have a low-profile role. Most of the magazines I use are interviews with yobidashi or articles in popular magazines which also include contributions from former members of the association, so I find them fairly solid.
The quotations have been clarified and I have taken the liberty of adding more where necessary. I've developed the lead section but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. You be the judge.

@OtharLuin, if that's the case (with regards to the sources), it can stay as it is. I think the lead looks good. Lastly, you might want to check if the information found in the lead is mentioned in the body as well. If that's the case, you can remove the references. If not, you should add that information to a relevant part of the article other than the lead. I think you can submit your article for a GA review. More often than not, apparent problems will be solved during the review, unless the article is quick-failed. Good luck. Aintabli (talk) 04:24, 2 November 2023 (UTC)

@Arjayay, you may want to review that article, because Malik is specifically for the Semitic term as noted in the lead, short description, basically throughout the article, it has been made clear that it is supposed to be for a series of related terms. A separate article might be created for the Greenlandic name. Per WP:HTRIV, some trivia that is especially tangential or irrelevant may not warrant inclusion at all. Trivia that cannot be integrated at all should be removed. There are 0 ways to integrate that trivia about Malik being a Greenlandic name to an article about the Semitic term.
