Hi there. We just happen to have a disagreement, including your reasoning behind why the quote should not be included, which we were civilly discussing on the talk page. And this disagreement is not something new, as two years ago, at least 3 users opposed your ideas for a whole year except for a banned user. And then you have decided to remove the quote half a year later, which passed users' attention. If a source is not NPOV, you should delete it and not compress it to plain accusation. My edits on Kurdification and Tell Abyad are mostly a revert based on the dispute, for which you even asked if there was an opposition in Fall 2021, and you still faced some. I feel as if there is a growing tension, especially from your emotion-filled comments on Kurdification's talk page, but I don't want to be the target of an old dispute that you faced opposition on several occasions. Thank you for the useful links. I wish you a great weekend. Ayıntaplı (talk) 14:48, 16 July 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:

Although I believe that it will add to me more than take, I am quite confused by this. Two weeks ago, I had already spent a great deal of time editing pages like Kurds in Lebanon, because they were drowned with content not supported with any sources by accounts banned by sockpuppetry ([1]). And Brûkî27's interests and edits were largely similar, almost always involving unsourced material, removal of sourced material, reverts, or sources that didn't support the edit. I previously notified him/her of the disruptive edits, though didn't directly give a warning, and this user was already banned for a few hours after the 4 warnings by other users. I finally used my brain to file a sock puppet investigation 5 days ago. However, Brûkî27 didn't stop after the ban and continued with similar edits, and I couldn't get a reply for the investigation (for understandable reasons). This whole process wasn't influenced by any goal to use Wikipedia as an ideological battleground, because all of my reverts of Brûkî27's edits were based on whether the source supported the claim or not. Though, unlike some of the suspected sockpuppets, Brûkî27 didn't directly start an edit war until now. I was quite surprised to find that he/she started a frenzy of removing sourced information and reverting my edits, which was the exact behavior of the suspected sockpuppets. Persuaded through "the duck test," my first instinct was to revert and then report for vandalism along with edit summaries which, as I suspect, caused my ban. Before this, I always tried to be nice in my comments by thanking people that I had disagreements with in talk pages, but I was immensely amateur in controlling the situation and inadequate for Wikipedia's standards. I am ashamed of my self-entitled style in one of my edit descriptions, saying "or you will be banned," as if I have the authority. In either case of my ban, I am okay. Thank you for seeing Brûkî27's case. Ayıntaplı (talk) 21:09, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

Accept reason:

To be fair, the username similarity combined with the focus on Kurds/Kurdistan is so clear that I can already accept this unblock request. Reverting edits made by a sockpuppet is fine (WP:BE), so there's nothing to complain about. When I placed the block, the situation looked more like a battlefield, spread across many pages with edit warring over the origins of people, which would be pretty disruptive from both editors if both editors' edits were legitimate. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:36, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

Syria ethnicity

It would be good if you could restore the Columbia source, because that shouldn't have just been deleted, and then perhaps you can join me in the discussion that I've opened on the talk page for Syria to discuss this topic. "Levantines" seems like a problematic term, so it would be good to hear what you think it means. Iskandar323 (talk) 08:41, 18 August 2022 (UTC)

I believe “Levantine” refers to various Arabic-speaking Christian communities like the Antiochian Greeks. I explained why Izady should not be included as a source in the talk page. Ayıntaplı (talk) 16:45, 18 August 2022 (UTC)

Ingush people

Hey there! I’ve seen you’ve undone my edit on Ingush people page. I would like to know why. Most information on Ingush people needs revision because it’s not neutral but biased, there are also a lot of grammar mistakes as well. Franklin Benjamin 123 (talk) 17:05, 16 September 2022 (UTC)

Hi,
I took that as a precaution, because in your edit summary, you've mentioned that you replaced the content with "neutral" history, while removing many sources. I would suggest that in each edit, you may want to explain what's wrong with each source, such as not verifying the information it is supposed to support. You can also remove unsourced content. I also noticed a lot of problems such as punctuation and grammar, but doing all in one big edit without much explanation is problematic, because anyone can easily oppose the edit. Barak Turkmens moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Barak Turkmens, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. Dear Arad,
I am even more surprised by this. I want to remind you that my warnings on your page (which you attempted to remove for some reason) were easily explainable unlike this. My first warning was because you have started an edit war, reverting my and User:Beshogur's reverts, lastly getting reverted by User:Golden. With 3 users opposing your edit, we have started a civil discussion on Talk:Azerbaijanis. Before a consensus was reached and long after the discussion was initiated, you have added that same source to Iranian Azerbaijanis, which I reverted and left the last warning on your talk page. I don't see any problem with this. Now, I don't know why you are doing this, because you should point at my problematic editing, which me reverting your edit once on three different pages doesn't count (as long as it's not edit warring, which is not the case). Two of them were due to the ongoing nature of the discussion, while one was my original revert. I would like to remind you again that 2 more users oppose this edit. Plus, I explained every edit of mine. Independent from this issue, I have also made some edits on Azerbaijanis based on whether the content could be verified by the source and paraphrasing quotes. All of them, with the exception of two minor edits, have clear explanations. So, should I take this as WP:HUSH? Ayıntaplı (talk) 22:54, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
You are unjustly reverting edits made in good faith with proper references, and refusing to engage in discussion due to "my tone", which has been always polite, if stern. There has never been a personal attack, which you try hard to claim. Before reverting, you should discuss the change and then revert if there is a consensus. Just because you and two other members work in group doesn't mean you have created consensus. This is not a popularity contest. Everyone has a right to edit. You were blocked before in Wikipedia for using it as a battleground, and it comes as no surprise. --Arad (talk) 23:16, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Dear Arad,
I was blocked for less than two hours, because an administrator checking the report submitted by myself misunderstood my reverts of the edits of an edit-warring sockpuppet. You were blocked for edit-warring years ago, which remanifested recently. I also don't know anything about the other users. I really don't like where this is going. Saying that I don't want to continue discussing given your tone doesn't mean that I am evading a consensus. There are two more users, and I am happy to return, when your tone changes. Ayıntaplı (talk) 23:21, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) Saying We are all surprised by the blatant Pan-Turkish and Pan-Turanism that certain Turkish (not even Azeri) members of Wikipedia are peddling here when there are only 2 Turkish editors that opposed your edit is very clearly a reference to Ayıntaplı and Beshogur and is a personal attack (ASPERSIONS). And now going even further and accusing random users of working "in group" is another clear instance of aspersions. I advise you to become familiar with NPA and use a better tone when speaking with editors who don't agree with your edits. — Golden call me maybe? 23:39, 6 November 2022 (UTC)

If you wish to make such repeated changes bring it to the talk of the relevant pages for a constructive discussion instead of removing information that could be valuable to readers for no reason. For further information: contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you

New pages

Hello, I trust you are doing well. Recently I have been patrolling your pages but I had translate the sources after I noticed that you are using the same sources over and over again. I searched for the name of the villages in the articles and I found nothing. I’m leaning towards mass deletion but I’ll be waiting for your reply. Please {{ping}} me when you reply. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 05:01, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Reading Beans:,
Could I ask which source that is? One source includes a map (in the format of an image), so it would be logical to not get any results after a quick search. Also, many villages have two names (one old and one new), and sources use different names.Ayıntaplı (talk) 05:05, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

Autopatrolled

Hi Ayıntaplı, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe (talk) 05:50, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Regarding Requested Move discussions

Hello, Ayıntaplı. I wanted to talk to you about RMs. When you create one, you are given the ability to write up your proposal for why there should be a move. This text is treated both as a comment and as the formal proposal. Because of this, it is not advised to rewrite the proposal based on what others say. For one reason, it would make it confusing to a closer who might not understand the proposal was updated and would be at risk of being confused as to why users did not focus on what you had written. I apologize if I am not explaining this that well. --Super Goku V (talk) 03:35, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

@Super Goku V: Sorry about my comment below; I had written a message with the identical section title, to the same effect. I hope you did not experience some kind of edit conflict. Renerpho (talk) 03:38, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
@Renerpho: Ah, no edit conflict here, though sorry if you experienced one. Also, thank you for the better explanation. --Super Goku V (talk) 03:47, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
@Super Goku V No problem! Thanks for the help working on the article, and the RMs. @Ayıntaplı Thanks for responding, and for making it clearer what happened to the request.
What a terrible event this is! Renerpho (talk) 04:02, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

Hello Ayıntaplı!

During your move request for the article about the earthquake(s) in Turkey and Syria, you made this edit half-way through the discussion, thereby changing your move request. I am sure this was done in good faith, and I understand that you may have done so to respond to the arguments that had been made in the votes and comments. However, changing your request half-way through, especially without leaving a trace of the original, is bad practice. It makes it hard to interpret the votes (when people say they support/oppose, do they support/oppose the original request, or the new one?). A possible (unintended) result of such a change is that people will change their vote to oppose regardless of their opinion on the matter.

I would suggest that you make one more change, this time such that all your edits are reflected (restoring the original request, leaving the new one, and why you changed it twice). You can strike through everything you said that's outdated, by placing it between <s> and </s>. Renerpho (talk) 03:36, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

@Super Goku V @Renerpho I added my original comment back. Sorry for this. It was a genuine mistake. I will not be repeating that in the future. Ayıntaplı (talk) 03:42, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
@ElusiveTaker@Super Goku V
@Ayıntaplı: Looking at this comment of yours, I am unsure if you understood why your changes to the "Requested move discussion" that were discussed here earlier did cause offense.
It is usually harmless when a user corrects their own comments on talk pages, as long as the comments are not too old (especially if there are no responses yet to that comment). You took a few iterations yourself to write your response, and nobody is going to take offense. On the contrary, if those edits served to clarify your point, and they clearly did, that is going to be appreciated. A user is unlikely to make such an edit if the original reflected what they actually wanted to say.
It is a completely different story when that comment is buried somewhere within an ongoing discussion (or worst of all, at the beginning of the discussion, like in a requested move rationale). While you may have acted in good faith (maybe even because you misunderstood the very point I myself made when I talked to you here a few days ago), the edit you request from user ElusiveTaker could also undermine the credibility of their vote, rather than just prevent confusion. No matter if that was intentional or not, please try to avoid that. If you have taken offense with ElusiveTaker's edit, a note on their user talk page, rather than directly below their vote, would have been more discrete. Renerpho (talk) 02:47, 11 February 2023 (UTC) EDIT: I see you did post on their user talk page, in User_talk:ElusiveTaker#Confusion. Posting only there would have been sufficient. Renerpho (talk) 02:54, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
My comment had little to do with their vote, more about what they meant. I initially commented on the talk page of the article, then decided to reach out in "private." Ayıntaplı (talk) 03:00, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
@Renerpho As I said in the talk page of the article, I am sorry if any behavior of mine came off wrong. Although I wouldn't like to touch on my personal life, I am currently going through some rough time, as my family was affected by the earthquake. Thank you for trying to correct some of the points here, though. Ayıntaplı (talk) 03:02, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
@Ayıntaplı: I'm sorry, I didn't want to be harsh. Being corrected by me twice in four days is not the best way from me to interact with you, and I am glad that you took that constructively.
What struck me was that ElusiveTaker had changed their vote, from Don't add category to Support. Requesting to change that back would have been undue, in my opinion. Again, if that was not the actual point of your comment then I apologize.
All the best to your family. Renerpho (talk) 03:09, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

I would advise you not to use nufusune.com as the population reference (see also this comment on my talk page), but this more reliable one from the Turkish statistics office: "Address-based population registration system (ADNKS) results dated 31 December 2021" (XLS) (in Turkish). TÜİK.. Markussep Talk 08:15, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

I hesitated to use that because 2022 results are out, but I didn't show enough effort to access those yet through TÜİK, and since that website was easier to navigate through, I simply moved on. Though, I have been thinking of going back to tweak some stuff on the articles I've created. I think Semsûrî has shared a link from TÜİK for the 2022 census on your talk page. I will change web references with that. Thank you for the notice. Ayıntaplı (talk) 21:25, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
That's right, the 2022 results are available, but not as user-friendly as the excel file. I hope that one will be updated soon. Markussep Talk 07:45, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
@Markussep Sorry for the late reply. I have found a similar excel file for the 2022 results. You can download it by clicking the "Favorite Reports" button on the page you shared. Ayıntaplı (talk) 15:46, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
Exactly what I needed, thanks for sharing the link! @Semsûrî: this is also useful for you. Markussep Talk 09:55, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
@Markussep @Semsûrî I have tweaked the url so that anyone viewing it will be automatically downloading the excel sheet and there won't be much confusion on the verifiability of the info. Here is the link: https://biruni.tuik.gov.tr/medas/zkau/view/z__5g/dwnmed-0/0821/95_EN.xlsx Please use this reference instead:[1] Ayıntaplı (talk) 03:17, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
That link doesn't seem to work now, do you think they moved it somewhere else? Markussep Talk 08:27, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
@Markussep Yeah, they moved it somewhere else, or it changes through time. This time it's https://biruni.tuik.gov.tr/medas/zkau/view/z_ks20/dwnmed-1/dst1/95_EN.xlsx, but it's best not to use this url anymore. Then, let's use the following reference, which is pretty much the same as the initial:[2] Perhaps, we can add an instruction to the reference, but I don't know about such a parameter. Ayıntaplı (talk) 15:15, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
I see two options: either add the "favorite reports" part ([3]) or archive the link and refer to that. Markussep Talk 15:22, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
I tried archiving, but it results in the same error, and the one I previously shared doesn't work as well. It probably changes from server connection to server connection. I thought I was being clever by inspecting the HTML code of the page and getting the source for the file, but apparently, I need to learn more about websites and the Internet. We can change the title to something like this: "Address Based Population Registration System (ABPRS) - Results of 31 December 2022 (via clicking 'Favorite Reports')" (XLS). TÜİK. Retrieved 12 March 2023. or just leave it as it is without the note in parantheses, since we may be overthinking it at this point. One last option is uploading this to WikiSource, but that may be a bit inefficient. Ayıntaplı (talk) 19:07, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Zayn al-Din Qaraja

The article Zayn al-Din Qaraja you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Zayn al-Din Qaraja for comments about the article, and Talk:Zayn al-Din Qaraja/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Agriculture synergy?

Hello again @Aintabli. Thanks for your edits to Agriculture in Turkey. I see you are active on Turkish Wikipedia so I wonder if you might be interested in getting tr:Türkiye'de tarım up to good standard whilst I work on the English article. I think this would be synergistic as you could much more easily find Turkish sources than I can, so I could reuse them whilst you could reuse what I have already written in English. Interested? Chidgk1 (talk) 14:51, 13 April 2023 (UTC)

Will try, but I am not that active on Turkish Wikipedia. I think it would be more effective if I send you some sources that may be of use and make some edits on the English article. Then, when this article passes a GA nomination, I can translate it to Turkish. Let me know what you think, Chidgk1. Aintabli (talk) 15:09, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Great - I did have a little look at the ministry website but it seemed not very well organised. Same for TUİK - if there is a particılarly useful ag stats page we could put that as an external link I guess Chidgk1 (talk) 06:14, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
You are completely bilingual in Turkish? If not don’t attempt to translate as some Turkish Wikpedians get very annoyed at even small language mistakes I have found Chidgk1 (talk) 06:17, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
@Chidgk1 I can occasionally make mistakes in Turkish, but we should be good. Aintabli (talk) 16:40, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
Given the slowness of the courts I presume the vegan cheese lawsuit is still ongoing - if you know otherwise please let me know Chidgk1 (talk) 15:27, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
@Chidgk1 Couldn't find any sources about the outcome of the lawsuit. So, it may be ongoing, or the ban was not repealed. On a different note, I believe this is quite tangential. Aintabli (talk) 02:24, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

Regarding AFD tag

Hello @Aintabli and asalam o alikum, you've put the tag on Cemal Polat's page and I think this is not a fair move sir, The page has significiant coverage and passing the WP:GNG clearly. The person has also helped the people of Turkiye in the recent earth quake with ten of thousands pounds. When I see the news in TV, I decided to write a page on him. He has been mentioned as the best selling author in various news websites, newspapers, and magazine. His restaurant received the award from the UK's top publication. I will be thankful if you could re check the references and help in removing the tag or simply make it better but not delete it. I am on Wikipedia since more than a year and I know the notability criteria. I could make a mistake but on Cemal's page I am satisfied that the references are passing the notability.

IntelisMust (talk) 09:42, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Please check WP:NBIO. The sources aren't good themselves to establish his notability. Most of them aren't even mainstream news media. He seems to be a businessperson, that's it. Authored books, owned places. There are thousands of people like that, and Wikipedia isn't for them. The only interesting thing is the award, but I cannot find anything about Gazette readers awards. Even if I could, it would be a long way from helping him reach the notable level. The best we could do is draftify the article. Aintabli (talk) 13:47, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

Image in biographical infoboxes

Dear Aintabli, thank you for your quick reaction in Talk:Antoine Hamilton. It seems the topic is not limited to that article. I would have thought that images in biographical infoboxes would serve about the same purpose as ID-photos and should look like them. I have the impression there is no guidance pertaining to portraits in MOS:LEADIMAGE and the Biography Project does not seem to have its own guideline. Zooming in on portraits that show more than the head sometimes produces useful ID-photos and sometimes fails to do so. In my experience the failures usually are caused by a bad quality of the original portrait. In my opinion, an example of a successful zoom-in of that sort is Hugo Krabbe. Antoine Hamilton is certainly less successful. Perhaps I should zoom out a bit more. With many thanks and best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 18:58, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

@Johannes Schade I would zoom out a bit more to have at least a portion of his shoulders there. Hugo Krabbe is more successful because we see more than just his head. Similarly, ID photos do also include the shoulders unlike the current zoomed-in picture of Hamilton. I couldn't find a specific guideline in MOS:LEADIMAGE on portraits as well, but one thing I can infer is that when we're zooming in, we often lose important features that help us in identifying that person, and MOS:LEADIMAGE article mentions that the picture ideally gives us a visual confirmation that we've arrived at the right page. In the case of Hamilton, we cannot see the full shape of his hair, which in my opinion is relevant to this quote. Thank you, Aintabli (talk) 20:24, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Dear Aintabli, what you say makes a lot of sense. I have now zoomed out more in Antoine Hamilton. His shoulder is hidden by his "hair", which is a wig. High and long wigs of curly hair were the fashion in his time in Western Europe. Bravo, your intervention has improved the article. With many thanks and best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 07:37, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
Dear Aintabli, FYI, I have added a short conclusion to the discussion on the Talk:Antoine Hamilton for the profit of the readers of that page. I wanted our discussion to be echoed there but wanted to give only essentials to keep it short. Thanks again for your efforts and the polite and efficient ways. Best regards and good bye, Johannes Schade (talk) 08:48, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
Thank you very much. Aintabli (talk) 15:50, 25 April 2023 (UTC)

DYK for Zayn al-Din Qaraja

On 26 May 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Zayn al-Din Qaraja, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Zayn al-Din Qaraja was imprisoned and executed by the Mamluk Sultanate after he declared the independence of the Beylik of Dulkadir? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Zayn al-Din Qaraja. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Zayn al-Din Qaraja), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Partial follow-up AfD

Hi, because you recently participated in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Turkic dynasties and countries, which also led to the deletion of Comparison of the Turkic states, I would like to invite you to participate in the partial follow-up Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comparison of the Baltic states. The situation of these three pages is not exactly the same (because language family plays no role in these cases), but because many issues are similar, I've nominated them as well, and am curious what you think. Cheers, Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 08:26, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

Request

Hello.

Can you find any information about the status of the Gaziantep Mevlevi Culture and Foundation Works Museums and Gaziantep Museum of Archaeology? They are closed since the earthquake, but have they sustained damage in the earthquake?

I have seen recent photos of Gaziantep, and the damage it suffered is indeed awful. Somehow, after the clearing of the debris, the city looks worse, before it is going to be better, unless they build new buildings shoddily again and another powerful earthquake destroys them again.

Yours sincerely, 31.200.20.235 (talk) 16:24, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi, they appear to be open, but I couldn't find a specific news article, so I'm hesitating to add anything to these articles at the moment. I could find such a source for Zeugma Mosaic Museum but not for these two. Aintabli (talk) 19:18, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

Deletion of the "List_of_kakapo" page

Mr Aintabli, I understand you are at the origin of the removal of the "list of kakapo" page. While I may understand the concerns you had about this page, it has definitely notability value for the community for numerous reasons: - Kakapo recovery program is the most notable, most well-funded and most successful bird recovery program in New Zealand, birds were saved from the absolute brink of extinction. They were given names and so did their offspring, the fact those individual names are so important is because of their limited genepool and the fact that certain birds have to breed in order for the species to survive as a whole (most notably, the offspring of the Fiordland kakapo Richard Henry) - therefor, this information is key. - The article is well-sourced - the Twitter, Instagram and Facebook sources come directly from the New Zealand Department of COnservation that lead the program and are as such not a matter of controversy - The article is completely up to date with the control of those official sources - The article is important for the non-scientific community, as there is no other publicly available source of information for this list of birds - Due to the strong emotional bond many people within or outside New Zealnd (such as me) feel to these birds, it is important to have the names, especially since the information is correct - One would argue that when a list with no interest whatsoever such as like the succession order to the throne of a country exists, this list would be way more important. - To gauge the interest, I would suggest you take a look at takapodigs (Andrew Digby) - the science advisor for the kakapo recovery program page on Twitter, and on the Department of Conservation and Kakapo Recovery and Sirocco the Kakapo pages on Facebook and Instagram to see how thousands of people are literally rabid about the informations you deem uncrucial.

As such, I would ask you to return the page to wikipedia, or at the very least provide me the PDF of the last version of the page, so that at the very least I can follow it on my side and at least keep the info and share it with the (numerous) people interested in it.

Thanks for the read, I hope you take the appropriate measures in either restoring the page or merging it with the kakapo page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PasquiDerder (talkcontribs) 07:55, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Aintabli. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). Thank you for taking on the review of this article, I look forward to working with you to bring it up to GA status! Just a friendly note, I noticed you placed the review on hold, however the review itself has not been completed against all criteria. Per WP:GAN/I#HOLD the "on hold" status is for articles where you as the reviewer have completed the review and there are additional notes to finalise the article that need completed by me as the nominator. You shouldn't be changing the status of the review until you have completed every aspect of the review. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 08:09, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
