Disambiguation link notification for September 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Badakhshan national football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AFC. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Morocco national football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Friendly (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Turkestan Autonomy moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Turkestan Autonomy, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Hey there. I'm looking over your draft about the Turkestan Autonomy. It's a good article, but I haven't been able to verify all of the article's claims. I've marked some sentences I couldn't verify, so if you're ever in the mood to add inline citations to more sources, that would really help with verification. Thank you :) – Þjarkur (talk) 23:15, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Þjarkur:, Hi. This article is in many sections of Wikipedia. For example in Russian Wikipedia — ru:Туркестанская автономия. I wonder why the article was taken in the Draft. Akhemen (talk) 06:03, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It was because it was lacking sources and seemed to maybe contain some original research. The English Wikipedia has stronger requirements for backing up claims than the Russian Wikipedia does, which why it can be tricky to translate articles from other Wikipedia projects when one hasn't verified the information. I had some difficulty finding English language sources, but I did make an attempt to verify the information. The Russian article has a bibliography of Russian and English sources which should be worth it to check out. For example, I couldn't find a source claiming they had 5 million inhabitants, I could find "Kokand had 50.000 inhabitants" but that was probably referring to the city. – Þjarkur (talk) 11:52, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Wanted to notify you that Turkestan Autonomy has been accepted as an article. There are still multiple claims there which I wasn't able to verify, so maybe you'd be interested in adding more sources. Have a nice one :) – Þjarkur (talk) 15:14, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
