Draft:Bello Matawalle[edit]

Hi. I’ve moved the article to draftspace, since it has no content, apart from an Infobox, and no sources. This way, you can work on the article in peace, without being bothered by the likes of me. See WP:Articles for creation for an explanation of the process. Good luck. Kleuske (talk) 11:35, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019[edit]

Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Bello Matawalle. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 12:11, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Abel Peter Diah[edit]

The article you submitted to Articles for creation has been created.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. If your account is more than four days old and you have made at least 10 edits you can create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Abel Diah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, Taraba State House of Assembly, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 20:00, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Alkherly1993. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Alkherly1993. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Alkherly1993|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS (talk|c|em) 14:00, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Dikko Umaru Radda[edit]

Hello Alkherly1993,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dikko Umaru Radda for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:MC Tagwaye, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:23, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Ahmed Rufai Abubakar has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your draft article, Draft:MC Tagwaye[edit]

Hello, Alkherly1993. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "MC Tagwaye".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

CS1 error on Sule Abdulaziz[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Sule Abdulaziz, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

Sule Abdulaziz[edit]

Hello, I notice you've uploaded a photo of Sule Abdulaziz to Commons, and declared it to be your own work. What's your connection with Mr. Abdulaziz please? Wikishovel (talk) 18:50, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I work at the Transmission Company of Nigeria and I handle the ICT department and serve as the Technical Assistant to the MD/CEO, Engineer Dr. Sule Abdulaziz. I snapped the picture myself. Thank you. Alkherly1993 (talk) 18:53, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I hope declaring it as my own work has not violated any rules of Wikipedia and Commons. Alkherly1993 (talk) 18:56, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You've been asked repeatedly above to declare your conflict of interest, but have not done so. That explains the ridiculously promotional original version you posted of Sule Abdulaziz. Declare your conflict of interest at your user page, as you were asked to in posts above. Wikishovel (talk) 19:00, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Transmission Company of Nigeria is a government agency and those working under it has the mandate to bring to the general public information to know about the Company, the MD and the Executive Directors. I repeat that I am not being paid to create a page. I am simply bringing the image of the MD to the public domain. Why are you confusing the two? Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:05, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can open the Transmission Company of Nigeria and see for yourself. I have only created pages of government officials not for persons where I have a monetary gain. Please kindly remove what you just posted on Sule Abdulaziz page. Working for the Federal Government of your country doesn't render whatever contribution you made to Wikipedia to be for monetary gain. I feel disrespected by your submission. Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:08, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You are an employee of the agency. Therefore you have a paid conflict of interest. Are you going to declare your conflict of interest, according to Wikipedia's rules? Or do I need to take this to an administrator and get you blocked for your disruption? Wikishovel (talk) 19:10, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How and where do I pay? Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:11, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody is asking you to pay. You need to declare your conflict of interest at your user page, as explained above. Wikishovel (talk) 19:12, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please can you direct me to where I need to declare? Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:13, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You need to guide me please Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:15, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikishovel (talk) 19:18, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just did that. Can you now remove what you added to the the page of Sule Abdulaziz? Alkherly1993 (talk) 19:20, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Alkherly1993! Your additions to Adamu Gwarzo have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 03:03, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vivian Chime moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Vivian Chime. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoraVoro (talk) 13:17, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sheila Courage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:BLP, only notable (if that) from some gossip sources discussing her marriage to the "personal logistics manager" of a singer, making this a WP:BLP1E issue and the kind of article we can do without.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Olumuyiwa Adejobi moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Request reason:

@wikishovel has been a bully since I began editing on Wikipedia. I am unsure if he has a personal issue with me, as he seems to be using my talk page to harass me. I haven't committed any wrongdoing. Whenever he points out corrections, I promptly adhere to them. However, he has taken it further by suggesting an indefinite block for my page. I am appealing this permanent ban, taking into account my significant contributions to the Wikipedia community. Therefore, I kindly request administrators to review this biased decision and unlock my account.thank you

Decline reason:

Appeals that include personal attacks are not considered. Please review WP:NOTTHEM and WP:GAB prior to making another appeal. Ponyobons mots 20:30, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

I may have slightly violated Wikipedia guidelines, but considering my substantial contributions to the Wikipedia community over the past 7 years, creating numerous articles with significant benefits, I kindly request leniency for this instance. I assure you that moving forward, I will strictly adhere to all editing and page creation guidelines. Thank you!

Decline reason:

This doesn't address the reason for the block, as you seem to be here for promote various individuals, including a police officer that you took a picture of and presumably know. 331dot (talk) 22:24, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
