Help me![edit]

Please, tell me if some of these Russian entrepreneurs are notable: Ruslan Fazlyev, Andrey Rusakov, Alexander Volchek, Deena Varshavskaya. If so what're the differences with this article deleted: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dmitry_Filatov&oldid=807325027 ?

Two of those articles you link to are well-referenced, with many high-quality sources. The other two I have proposed for deletion. See also WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS: Other problematic articles may exist on Wikipedia, but each article must stand on its own merits, pointing to those other articles doesn't mean your problematic article should be given a free pass. Your submission at Articles for creation: Topface (January 21)[edit]

I declined because articles must reference significant coverage of the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject to demonstrate that they're notable topics for Wikipedia. Most of the sources either a) relate to one hacking incident, b) are to the company's social media, or c) are to trivial sources like "top so-and-so" lists. If it's a notable site, there will be people writing actual stories about it in newspapers, magazines, etc. - but if so, none of that has made it into the article. The Drover's Wife (talk) 11:15, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the whole truth. There are Russian sources that are notable sites with people writing actual stories. I have already had a conversation about this in the Teahouse, and I was recommended to re-submit the article as a translation. Antonzaitsev (talk) 20:45, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is that just because the article exists in Russian doesn't mean it's going to meet English Wikipedia company referencing standards: not every language Wikipedia has the same quality controls. I checked the Russian sources, and the comment I made above was including them. It really needs more quality sources - Russian-language is fine. I suspect these do exist based on the article content, they just need to make it into the article. The Drover's Wife (talk) 21:40, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
