Audio recording for Olympic Games Article

Hello, I note on the Olympic Games talk page that you are in the process of recording an audio version of this article. Thank you for this work! I'm not sure how far along you are on the recording but I made a few wording changes to the article yesterday and today that I hope would be included in the recording. While I don't believe in article ownership, I helped shepherd this article to FA status and hold it near and dear to my heart. I had to step away from WP for a while and when I returned I noted some significant POV changes had been made that would have disqualified it from FA had been put up for review. So I've been doing some repair work the last few days. I feel pretty good about where the article currently stands. At any rate thanks again for your efforts and happy recording. Glad to see someone's paying attention. I'm a fan of accessibility, but I have no idea how many visually impaired people will actually use the recording. The recording is going okay, I'll see what I can do to keep it current. It's been very convenient to use Audacity, I should be able to just cut and past in sections of text that have changed. I'm just not used to hearing my own voice replayed.Becky Sayles (talk) 01:42, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi Becky! I see it has been a while since you began the recording - did you encounter any problems along the way? Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 22:06, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Ravinder Kaur

Hi there, The article on Ravinder Kaur that I've created is an eminent researcher in Sociology. I'm in the process of expanding the article with the information available. I'm fully aware of the Wikipedia guidelines on notability and I've been contributing on Wikipedia for a while now. Randhir 05:03, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you toreview other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trialscheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to onlya small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism orBLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:06, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

ศ.นพ.สุทธิพร จิตต์มิตรภาพ

Hi. You just tagged this article for CSD A7. Have you checked the Thai text? My Thai is fairly fluent and it looks as if it could be a notable academic. --Kudpung(talk) 07:38, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

It seems to be a great resume, I'm sure someone would be interested in hiring. But nothing seems to suggests any level of prestige or selectivity.Becky Sayles(talk) 08:13, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

March 2011

Hi Becky Sayles. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for ศ.นพ.สุทธิพร จิตต์มิตรภาพ, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review thecriteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section coveringnon-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Not an article for CSD. For non English articles, please use the 'not English' template, and list the article on WP:articles for translation. Kudpung (talk) 07:54, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Bupenda Meitei

Help me out ,am going to refer the entire write ups to Peter C. to look into it n rewrite it to the standard of wikepedia. Its not a self composed article. Its my article. I dont know the person Bupenda Meitei in person but have done that by searching about him in google.Kellystick (talk) 08:38, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I've placed an "in use" template on the page. It might be best to avoid blanking the page unless there's something like a copyright problem. Becky Sayles (talk) 08:43, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Help for Page Deletion

Hello, i created a page of our game but ı didn't understand why you deleted it exactly, thank you..Sirsebastian (talk) 11:08, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

The page you created was deleted by User:Amatulic. It was deleted because it did not explain why this game was significant. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Csd andhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:First_article for more information.Becky Sayles (talk) 20:14, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

vandalism warning on Types of tobacco

Please read my initial edit summary "no need for the inclusion of the whole of the latakia article here - already linked for interested readers". On the 9th of February ip address 99.36.123.138 copied the whole of the Latakia (tobacco) into the Types of tobacco article. This is entirely unnecessary and I am merely restoring the article to it's previous state. To give me a vandalism warning shows that you are are not taking notice of the contents of edits/edit summaries. I shall now restore my removal. regards 94.194.98.168 (talk) 00:38, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

My bad. Becky Sayles (talk) 00:59, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Lightehthertheory

I removed your A7 nomination for Lightehthertheory; WP:A7 applies only to certain topics. I nominated it for CSD A10, however. Happy editing! VQuakr (talk) 07:04, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

New article question - Zero Balancing

I am a brand new user to Wiki - slightly intimidated by the process but have created new article on Zero Balancing, a bodywork widely practiced. The article is in my sandbox and I would love feedback before posting it live. Thank you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Guinyviere2000/sandbox (Guinyviere2000 (talk) 23:15, 13 February 2012 (UTC))
