License tagging for File:Artist’s impression of the Titan Submarine above the surface of Kraken Mare on Titan.webp[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Artist’s impression of the Titan Submarine above the surface of Kraken Mare on Titan.webp. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:30, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry. I am terrible at using Wikipedia, and if I could have a tip on how to change the image’s properties I’d be very happy Bennett1203 (talk) 03:31, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, 1996 Shrek Movie[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 1996 Shrek Movie. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Shrek. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Shrek. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 03:45, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Caseoh[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Caseoh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~ A412 talk! 21:31, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Venus with water; in the past.webp[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Venus with water; in the past.webp. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Kepler-23d for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Kepler-23d is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kepler-23d until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Orphaned non-free image File:Venus with water; in the past.webp[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Venus with water; in the past.webp. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:42, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Bill's Donut Shop[edit]

Hello Bennett1203,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bill's Donut Shop for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello! I was just wanting to inform other people on the internet about Bill’s donuts, as not that much information is online about the company. I thought compiling sites from the internet into one page so people could get as much information as they want about the company.
if you want to, you can delete the page, although I’m just a helpful contributor who wants to teach people about things! Bennett1203 (talk) 21:23, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Bennett1203, thanks for being understanding! The issue is that the subject of the article doesn't qualify as notable enough for an article. To do so, it must meet our General Notability Guidelines. I would suggest reading the links contained in the Welcome message on your Talk page, above. Kind regards, BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 21:29, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Bennett1203! Your additions to File:Bill’s Donut Shop in 2011.jpeg have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 22:43, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

The information you wrote in the C/1999 T1 article you made is incorrect. C/1999 T1 has nothing to do with C/2006 P1; please don't confuse these two unrelated comets. If you have time, please fix this. Nrco0e (talk) 21:13, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Synorem. I noticed that in this edit to WatZatSong, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Synorem (talk) 02:12, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a mistake. I deleted it because it's useless information to put in the history tab. The history tab of this article must be about events that happened in the sites history, not inadequate information. Bennett1203 (talk) 02:15, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ps, i mustve removed an important part of the article! mistake!o Bennett1203 (talk) 02:16, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was a short line about the site adding it's first unique feature, how would that be 'useless'? Nethertheless, the use of a edit summary would've helped here ^^ Synorem (talk) 02:17, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
not to sound mean; i'm not, I think the quiz part is farely useless, as it gives no direct important information about the history of the site. Say hypothetically someone is doing an essay about this, and ignore the teachers desperate attempts at telling her schoolchildren to not use Wikipedia, the kid wants to do an essay on this and he stumbles upon the quiz part. He wouldn't really add that into the essay unless he wants to do the extra mile. In my opinion I think it's somewhat useless, although I do half agree with your response, (not to sound mean again) but as a more experienced user on WatZatSong.com, I think it's fair to say this feature was added for fun by the developers. Then again I do respect your opinion. Bennett1203 (talk) 02:22, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Solar Smash has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article has no secondary sources and fails the general notability guideline. Secondary reviews from reliable sources do not seem available. Please consider adding these if you would like to contest this proposed deletion to avoid this article going to a deletion discussion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, Bennett,
The only way I know to overcome an AFD Delete decision is to create a Draft version and submit it to WP:AFC for review. I looked at the previous version which was deleted and it was in much better shape than your version. You might consider going to WP:REFUND and asking for it to be restored to Draft space where you could work on it. But creating a new article and placing it in main space makes it likely that it will be tagged for CSD G4 speedy deletion.
If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Liz Read! Talk! 02:16, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
