3D animations[edit]

Hello, I saw you put links to 3D-animation java applets at Spinel‎ and Lonsdaleite. Sorry for deleting them, the link didn't work then, at least on my PC. The lonsdaleite (and other carbon) animation seems cool (I myself could never make such !) Spinel is trickier as its hard to grasp what is what (i.e. what parts of the structure are shown in different models and what are different colors). You might wish to look at http://www.webmineral.com/data/Spinel.shtml and maybe talk to keen structure drawers like Ben. Anyway, it would be nice to brush up those animation pages, providing more details. Cheers.NIMSoffice (talk) 00:39, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The "bare" animation pages that you have been adding links to (both under your user name and as an ip) aren't very helpful as an external link. Also, we don't promote our own stuff around here. Vsmith (talk) 21:32, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
