Deletion discussion about Hemmingwell[edit]

Hello, Buntz06,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Hemmingwell should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hemmingwell .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

In Memoriam A.H.H.What, you egg?. 22:06, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hemmingwell, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "publish changes" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Sam Sailor 10:38, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Hemmingwell[edit]

Hi, I'm Vexations. Buntz06, thanks for creating Hemmingwell!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add references.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

November 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm FlightTime. Please refrain from changing genres as you did to the page Linkin Park but you didn't provide a reliable source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. It has been removed and archived in the page history for now.

Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive.

Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 20:29, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Linkin Park. - FlightTime (open channel) 20:37, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Linkin Park. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:53, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry[edit]

Sorry Buntz06 (talk) 20:04, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edit to Wilby, Northamptonshire, since you added a sensationalist claim about crime levels with no supporting source. It is very important that you include a proper source when editing, especially when making a claim which could be read as alarmist or controversial. Please do not add claims like "There has been a large increase of crime in Wilby since 2011, mainly robberies, theft, vandalism and anti-social behaviour." unless you also include very clear and reliable sources for this information. Thank you, Railfan23 (talk) 21:49, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kettering[edit]

Once again, you've added a claim without sources to an article. This time to Kettering. You also put your addition in the wrong place. Please read and follow Wikipedia's core police on verifiability. It is very important that you follow this rule, otherwise you could be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks, Railfan23 (talk) 00:26, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on XxUndergroundxX requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sam Sailor 20:57, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
