your edit of Sweet Sixteen[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages), disambiguation pages follow the following standards:

  • Do not pipe the name of the links to the articles being listed
  • Unlike a regular article page, don't wikilink any other words in the line

Thanks --rogerd 00:33, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • sure thing, dind't mean to, just adopted the style used on the rest of the page--Burg_Hambler (talkcontribs) 01:03, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
no problem, I just figured you didn't know --rogerd 04:02, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you added the {{weasel}} tag to the above article. This tag refers editors to the corresponding talk page for an explanation and discussion of the words/phrases in question. When adding this tag, please also justify the addition on the talk page. I've removed the tag; while you are obviously free to reinsert it, please consider the benefits if doing so of also explaining why you have done so on the talk page. With thanks, Colonel Tom 13:04, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

I hope you don't mind me bringing this up, but from a glance at your (good and useful) contributions, the fact that virtually all of your edits are marked as 'minor' stands out. It may be that you've set your preferences to have this as the default. If so, please consider amending this if you're not on a stub-sorting binge or similar. Please refer to Help:Edit_summary for an explanation of how marking only particular edits as minor can assist other editors. It is clear that your contributions are useful, and many of them are more than minor. I'm sure you'll become a valued contribuutor to wikipedia, and be aware that you can ask me or any other editor for assistance / advice / clarification / a warm cup of tea if you wish to. Regards and happy editing, Colonel Tom 13:24, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do provide edit-summaries for your contributions. It helps people monitoring the page, and will help you also if you need to return to the page. Regards, ImpuMozhi 15:59, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

<<hugs>> and some well-meant advise
  1. Please do provide edit-summaries for your contributions. It helps people monitoring the page, and will help you also if you need to return to the page.
  2. There is a set procedure for the creation of new stubbing templates. A proposal has to be listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, debated and voted upon before being created. Please list your template there asap. I shall support you there if you do.
  3. I hate to discourage an apparent newcomer, but you have created this page, and then made 7-8 edits, to a result comprising of one sentence which provides incorrect information. You proceeded to create a special template for stubbing the article with, a surprising initiative considering that the subject is evidently unfamiliar to you. Atleast until you find your feet here, it may be better to stick to topics of which you have definite knowledge. Regards, ImpuMozhi 17:17, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do see that you have made some very nice edits, and that the stubbing template is servicable. And I love your userpage, both the image and the joke-link, as also the joke-line about rewriting stuff....I am sure you will make many valuable, imaginative contributions to WP. Please be assured that I mean well in giving this advise. Do contact me if you need help of any kind. Good luck and happy editing. Regards, ImpuMozhi 18:53, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Beverly Hills Brats has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article has been tagged as unsourced for over a decade - I did a Google search and the subject does not seem to be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
