Multiple account warning

You warned BQUB13-Aalberch (talk · contribs) about the possibility that his editing pattern indicated he may be using multiple accounts. I think if you look into matters further (check the Special:UserList starting at BQUB, you'll find there are lots of users in this group. I believe it is a university project (in fact at least one of the users attested to this fact in a talk page comment, but I am unable to find that comment now). I believe they have been tasked with creating or improving pharmacology articles on Wikipedia. It might be useful to engage one or more of the members of this group to see if we can contact their professor and reign them in. They appear well-meaning, but their articles are mostly unreferenced, which is problematic. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:52, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

  • Looks like we're on the same page. Yes, I agree that it is likely to be a student participating in the Education Program, thus why I left the AGF msg on their talk pages. I just saw that one said s/he was a first year med student. That said, the current course or school is not apparent in the school courses.   • Thanks for checking with me! I would go ahead and delete it. Stale? Yes. It just doesn't seem to be a priority for them at this point. If I ever hear back and receive the proper authorization, it can always be restored. Actually, can you just userfy it to User:Cindamuse/Nadine Epstein?   • Hi Shujuan5210! The note I left on your talk page provided some information about this, along with some links that provide extensive background about the specific guidelines for writing articles about songs. I notice also that another editor tried to answer some of the same questions for you at User talk:Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars#Notability. The phrase "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" is the rule of thumb for the general notability guidelines. ← If you click on this link, you will find some indepth information about the guideline. You'll also find a bit of information at WP:VRS, which covers "significant", "reliable", and "independent sources". In a nutshell, "Wikipedia articles cover notable topics—those that have gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time, and are not outside the scope of Wikipedia. We consider evidence from reliable independent sources to gauge this attention. (This does not include sales and merchandising sites such as iTunes, Amazon, or video sites like YouTube. These sites fail reliability and independence. At the same time, they fail to offer significant coverage outside of "buy this album to listen to these songs". The notability guideline does not determine the content of articles, but only whether the topic should have its own article.". Note that we don't generally create articles in the mainspace, before gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the requirements that will allow us to retain the article. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, so it is recommended that you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. In essence, we don't keep articles around until a new editor learns the ropes and expectations of the community. So, unfortunately, we are back to my initial question.       • Yes, the Gaon Charts citation is a good one and clearly indicates notability. And references are good. "Overlinking" refers to duplicate internal links known as "wikilinks". In this specific article, there were several duplicate links to the same non-existing article. For further comments and replies, please see your talk page for continuity.         • my apology. well i had restore it to the version that you last edit. Seen article had notability and has been established. i will retain the article. I Saw ur edit i guess u really dont understand some of it.
  1. the reason i put NA becos is a Instrumental music. In that case there is NO WRTIER. I had edit and blank it.
  2. Mnet is know as M!Countdown, and ref also posted. those music show date are posted in the schedule link. like u say so many external link, are u sure is right to post?
  3. Inkigayo, Music Bank, M-Wave, tVn, Mnet(M!Countdown) music core are all tv music show. The way u EDIT the performing part really bad i must say that I am not sure what have u done to that post! U press revised at the same time i do. so confuse. before u edit at least tell me first.
  4. I had done my part in edit and put up all the link where u put remarks on it.
  • As far as "NA", if you want to indicate that something is "not applicable", you would write "n/a". "NA" does not translate well to "not applicable" in this regard. In essence, all songs have writers, even instrumentals. One writes the lyrics, or words, while another person writes the music itself. Blanking it will work fine. There are concerns with some of the citations you have added. We cannot use Youtube for citations, such as those you've added. This Youtube content contains uploaded videos in violation of US copyright law and must be removed from the article. Note that we CAN retain links to Youtube content if it is uploaded by the copyright holder and directly supports the article content. Trying to use create citations by linking to a video channel does not support article content. Do not link to the video channel at Mwave, but link to the specific videos. Do not link to the video channel for Music Core, but link to the specific videos that support article content. We also cannot use a link to results on a search engine to support content. If you wish to add a citation, it must be to specific content that supports the article content directly. So in essence, you either need to cleanup this article, revert to an earlier version, or allow yourself to work with others. Keep in mind that editors don't own the articles that they create. Others are welcome to participate by providing constructive edits anytime. Note that I will not tell you first if I am editing an article. No one else will either. However, when I begin a major edit, I generally remember to place an "in use" template at the top of articles to alert other editors that a major edit is taking place. I did this on this specific article, but you chose to not only ignore it, but you removed it. I sense that there is a language barrier, due to the broken English. Again, if you have questions, ask. Just keep in mind that others are here to help you. While you may be confused with the edits of others, they are editing to bring these articles into compliance with community standards. Your actions taken by reverting these constructive and helpful edits have been disruptive and are a sincere detriment to your goals here. Stating "The way u EDIT the performing part really bad", is inappropriate in any situation, but particularly when you fail to understand or follow community guidelines. Learn the expectations, ask questions. And try to think the best about your fellow editors. Again, I realize that there is a language barrier. I'm more than happy to work with you. Will you work with me? I need you to clean up these Youtube links. If you are not able to do it, I will. Let me know if you have time. NOTE: You need to sign your comments!   • Hey there, friend! Unfortunately, I had a bad accident on November 1st and haven't been online much since then. I fell through an outdoor ramp and tumbled about 20ft, landing on my head. Major concussion, skull fracture, and neck injury. If I still wasn't in so much pain, I would be laughing hysterically. I'm stirring sporadically and may be "headed" for neck surgery. (I crack myself up.) It's hard for me to focus my eyes on the monitor, so I just kinda stay in a dark room and catch up on movies. Hope you are doing well. I have rewritten some parts of the article and am going to make it better. Cindamuse, i have recently changed my username as well because the previous one was too much related to the organization i am trying to write about in my article and was thus kind of promotional. I would make sure that next time i make any modification to the article, i am logged in. If it is possible for you to reconsider your decision regarding "consideration for deletion" and especially regarding this particular part "This article or section contains close paraphrasing of one or more non-free copyrighted sources.   • The article remains a close paraphrasing of this news report. There is a clear conflict of interest in using Wikipedia to promote your company. The inability to recognize and properly address this concern is one that frequently occurs with individuals who create and edit articles where there is a conflict of interest. Continued use of the project to promote a business may result in a block of your account. Nobody sincerely wants to see this. That said, you need to take a step back, stop creating different registered accounts, and spend some time reading and reviewing the policies and guidelines as presented to you on your various talk pages. At this point, the lack of compliance, particularly regarding numerous user names and the conflict of interest is becoming disruptive. If you sincerely wish to participate in editing Wikipedia beyond merely promoting your own organization, I'm truly puzzled why you choose to ignore the guidance offered to you. The better course of action would be to research and add reliable and independent sources to the article to support the content. I've edited out more of the promotional content.     • see I disagree, If someone has information on a subject it is not a conflict. I am just writing biographical information. It is an opinion that I would be conflicted, and as you can see, it is only provided facts and information, not excess flair.     • Hello, Thank you for welcoming my contributions. This is the first issue i've had yet. All information I provide is cited properly with facts and basic biographical information. There is no special additions or marketing ploy. I am unsure of what the issue is here, all info is properly cited and created within all guidelines. I also have a degree in Bio Chemistry - can I not write about that? Because of a conflict of my expertise on a subject? I am sure you can see I have done nothing but provide the facts and information, without additional flair. Please remove the speedy deletion ASAP. Thanks for your help! If you must - please provide the exact copied information. I do not notice any word-for-word copies, but as such if you happen to, let me know and it will be removed from the page.       • In all sincerity, it doesn't really matter if you properly cite your facts and provide basic biographical information, if you use content from a source protected by copyright. Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Foundation takes copyright violation very seriously. Understand that this is a violation of policy with legal ramifications. The conflict of interest pertains to your relationship with the company and editing on their behalf. As stated in your first message, "WE OWN" the content. This is a clear statement that you are a connected contributor. I would recommend spending time reviewing the information I provided on your talk page. As far as donating information, when we are able to verify authorization to use the material, the article can be easily restored. I work with the OTRS team and will keep an eye out for a message from the company. Understand also that while the copyright violation exists, we cannot retain this information in the project.   • Hi Emily, thanks for contacting me. Please accept my apology for not responding sooner. I saw your msg while I was coming down with a migraine, so, I escaped, planning to come back later. That sounds amazing that people around the world acknowledged the life of Ricky Lind. He must have been an outstanding and inspirational person. While I may personally consider his life to be a testimony of an amazing young man who experienced tremendous heartbreak, we cannot rely on my opinion alone. In order to establish notability (as Wikipedia defines it to be), we need to find significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, his family, or associates. Are you aware of any newspaper or magazine articles about him? Books? Maybe a film about his life? If you can locate some reliable and independent sources to support notability, we can recreate the article. I would be more than happy to lend a hand in this effort. I would recommend that we create an article about Ricky in a subpage of your userspace, for example at User:Emilypromqueen/Ricky Lind. ← (Just click on this link and start writing.)
