Donald J. Savoie[edit]

Hi Cirppa, I noticed you re-added post-nominal letters for Donald J. Savoie's doctoral degrees to the article about him. You may not realize that WP:POSTNOM (in Wikipedia's manual of style for biographies) indicates that "Post-nominal letters, other than those denoting academic degrees, should be included when they are issued by a country or widely recognizable organization with which the subject has been closely associated." As it is not the practice to include post-nominals for academic degrees in biographies on Wikipedia, I have removed them once again. Not a resume[edit]

I deleted an entire section added today of books edited by the subject of the Donald Savoie article. This is the kind of material one might expect to find in a resumé, not an encyclopedia article. I would respectfully suggest that you take a look at the long lists of works and cull them for the most important or resonant ones. Maybe five for each category at most. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Donald J. Savoie, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.
