Hi Clarissa Burt. Assuming that you're the same person as this Clarissa Burt (and so far there's no reason no doubt that you're not), please take the time to carefully read through this and this because it explains somethings about Wikipedia that you might not know. The subjects of Wikipedia articles, in principle, are highly dioscouraged from trying to directly edit such article, but instead are encourage to seek assistance from others whenever they have concerns about what's written about them on Wikipedia. The notification template I added above contains links to Wikipedia policies and guidelines related to this type of thing page, and I've added links to two more pages that I think you might find helpful. If you've got any questions about the above, you may ask below, at the Wikipedia Help Desk or at the Wikipedia Teahouse and someone will try and help you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:00, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "ClarissaBurt", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because users are allowed to use their real name as their username as explained here. In some cases, however, their account may be temporarily blocked as a precaution against damaging impersonation in cases where their real name is also the same as a specific, identifiable person (for example, someone like the actress Clarissa Burt) until their identity can be further verified. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:52, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Clarissa Burt. It's perfectly acceptable to use your real name as your user name, but all Wikipedia pages are public pages and anyone can see what you post as explained here and here. In addition, when someone uses their real name as their user name and this name is the same as a specific, identifiable person (e.g. someone who has a Wikipedia article written about them), then their account may be temporarily blocked as a precaution against damaging impersonation until their identity can be further verified. Please keep this in mind if you intend to continue to use this account to edit or create any content related to the actress Clarissa Burt (i.e. you yourself). -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:06, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Clarissa Burt. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ 10:42, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
