I don't know if you realized this as I have, but the ending theme to 5 shares it's chorus tune with "Unbreakable Wings" from Love Song. Kind of weird, even if Maeda did compose both songs. I wonder if it's worth noting in the 5 article about it, though perhaps not since it'd be original research...Still interesting though; it definitely surprised me to hear a familiar tune out of a new song.--十八 22:45, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Nice finding. I didn't notice it, since I am trying to avoid listening to it until I beat the game once, but that perhaps convinenced me to listen to it later. Looking at the Little Busters! Original Soundtrack booklet, Maeda did cite similarities between "Winter Fireworks" and "Lamp", "Summer Lights" and "Unused track 3" (being an rearrangement) from Kanon and Air respectively. Interesting, I didn't know that. Looking at it, it seems Yūto Tonokawa drew the similarity between the version of "Winter Fireworks" on Recollections to "Lamp". Either way, I can't hear the similarity there, and only vaguely do I hear the similarity between "Summer Lights" and "Unused track 3", but "Eternity" from 5 and "Unbreakable Wings" are not just similar; "Eternity" uses the tune from "Unbreakable Wings" exactly (during the chorus of "Eternity"). If Jun Maeda hadn't composed both songs, it'd be a copyright infringement, I'm sure, just like what happened to "Tori no Uta".--十八 03:53, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I myself think the similarity between "Winter Fireworks" and "Lamp" is quite prominent, for the feeling it gives in the beginning at least. Anyways, for now I think the similarity between "Eternity" and "Unbreakable Wings" is probably not to be mentioned (even though several blogs mentioned it), since as you mentioned, it's original research, nor are the blogs reliable sources. -- クラウド６６８ 06:35, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I guess I just can't hear it, particularly because the tempo in "Winter Fireworks" is much faster than that of "Lamp". I think this is mainly due to the fact that the latter part of "Lamp" shares its tune with the latter part of "Song for friends". But I can slightly hear the similarity between the original "Winter Fireworks" and the start of "Lamp", but so slight I wouldn't even begin to compare the two since a good amount of music on Key Sounds Label has a sound like that (which is one of the reasons why I love the music so much).--十八 07:46, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Don't know if you've been hearing the news, but LBE is so popular that the game is all but sold out in Akiba; even Tonokawa took a note of it in his recent blog entry. I really want to cite this in the article, but the only thing I have right now is Tonokawa's note about how "already there are many stores sold out of it". I'm seeing the news posted at blog cites like Akiba Blog and Kagikko Blog, but I can't cite them. >< Do you know of any reliable sources that would have covered the news?--十八 06:12, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Lol i was reading about it just a few days ago on Kagikko. Well, I am not exactly sure if this helps, but AkibaOS' report perhaps would qualify as a reliable source, given they have an editorial and stuff, but I may be wrong. Finding out I am able to help makes a bright morning. By the way, the new PCpress issue is out (for the pre-order section at least), but as it seems, they got rid of the first issue of the log. Urgh, I can't believe they took off the first issue; this totally sucks. I tried to use archive.org just now on the website, and not even the home URL brought up anything, so this might come down to citing images if all else fails (as in take a screencap of the ranking you want to cite before it gets taken off the site). I've done this in the past in dire situations, though I admit it's not the best solution...--十八 21:56, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Ah, that possibly means that you have a Dynamic IP address, and that my welcome message was made towards a previous contributor who ultilized the same IP address, possibly using the same ISP as yours. Yeah, I like the series a lot too, though I haven't been able to find much to contribute to the main article. In spite of the rather conceited message I got from you, I would just like to casually say your reaction was exaggerated. If you were displeased with the edit, as you obviously were, than simply change it, as has already happened. Blatant criticism of another, especially on a Wiki, is quite unnecessary since "critical attention" is a matter of opinion.
