Information icon

Hello Content writer23. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Content writer23. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Content writer23|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --- Possibly 22:44, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, not I am not paid for writing or editing anything on Wikipedia and I am doing this on my own free will. Content writer23 (talk) 23:15, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have been doing content writing and freelancing for different websites for some years now, which I do on my own free will without getting paid directly or indirectly because I love to write. That is why I switched to wikipedia to enhance my skills and contribute to the world.but, no one likes failure hence, I am trying so hard to make this right and go live on internet so, that I can move forward and start writing and learning more. Hi. So you are saying basicallty that you are volunteering for Dhruv Mohite, to create his web page? --- Possibly 09:18, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, because I am journalism student I wanted to write on famous people from different cities and I wanted to start with him. Something, I wanted to start from long time. Content writer23 (talk) 09:51, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you are working for him as a volunteer, you need to put a statement on your user page to explain that. It is a strong COI, even if you are not being paid. --- Possibly 20:32, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Okay! Content writer23 (talk) 09:20, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
