Comments

Hey, I just wanted to make a note of your cast picture for the first episode of Grey's Anatomy which is A Hard Day's Night. Your cast picture does not include Justin Chambers who has been a series regular since the pilot episode. You may want to change the picture to one with him in it.

Hello, I have asked you to comment before on my FLC, which I am very grateful, I was wondering if you could give comments on my new FLC? If you are able to, I would really appreciated comments other than a support right away. Thanks!  — SoapFan12 Talk smile 21:38, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Hey there. I was thinking, we should work on Nikki's article and nominate it for GA. Not a lot has to be done, just a bit of reception expansion and overall clean-up. Let me know when you would like to, if you would. Arre 11:55, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Okay. I agree that not a lot has to be done. I can try to start soon. Creativity97 17:52, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Give comments

If you are interested, would you be able to give comments on my new FLC?  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 14:22, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

These articles really aren't my specialty, so I really don't know how to properly judge them. That being said, I won't be commenting. Sorry. Regards, Creativity97 18:47, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
Okay, I completely understand but If you ever change you're mind (please do!) comment. lol. Maybe, if you read the criteria you might see something missing and you then write comments.  — SoapFan12 (talk, contribs) 18:54, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Article titles

I was just thinking. It's very annoying how titles for some character articles such as Paul Williams (The Young and the Restless), John Abbott (The Young and the Restless) and Jack Abbott (The Young and the Restless) etc have to include the Y&R name. It's a bit too long and less easy to access for those searching it. I was thinking maybe we should move them to articles that just say "Jack Abbott (character)", so on. What do you think? I wanted your opinion because this would disrupt the common style of how soap articles are titled. Let me know if you agree — Arre 07:40, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

I don't really see it as a problem, but titling "Jack Abbott (character)" also works. I don't mind either one. Maybe we should bring it up at WP:SOAPS as well, if you already haven't done so? Creativity97 21:21, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Yes I think I will bring it up there. It's not a massive issue but it would make it a lot easier for those searching it on Wikipedia. — Arre 03:57, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Summer Newman

Hi there! I don't think there's much need for consistency as this point as multiple pages are following a multitude of ways. Indicating which actress currently portrays a role that has been portrayed by multiple people would be helpful. And it doesn't do anyone any harm to improve on old ways.Cebr1979 (talk) 04:45, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

I'm doing alright, just living through the every day struggles of life. How's the editing on Wikipedia going? Anymore projects you guys are tackling? livelikemusic my talk page! 16:54, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Not really. I haven't been extremely active around here the past few months. I'm not sure if I'll do extensive work on any articles, maybe just some touch-ups and tweaks here and there. But we don't know what the future holds so who knows. Creativity97 01:12, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
I know how you feel; I'm feeling really deterred from editing recently, and it's hard seeing what hard work we've all done just kind of go down the drain in some aspects. Hope you do pick it back up, as you did marvelous work with Arre on The Young and the Restless articles, etc. livelikemusic my talk page! 17:15, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Yes. I agree. We've done all this work and then some people just come in and think they can create bogus reasons for changes they make, just because they want it their way. Some of these articles have even been thoroughly copyedited by the Guild of Copyeditors and yet they still come in and change it. That's why I'm refraining from full article expansion for awhile. Thank you for your nice words, too! Creativity97 16:40, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi there! It was established in the Template Infobox Soap Opera Character that portrayers (plural) should be listed in chronological order. Just when exactly were you planning on learning it because multiple errors have been made.

Hey Creativity. How are you? Still following soaps?I was wondering what you think of the discussion here, I'd appreciate it if you could weigh in. Looking at the way Heather Tom's free image is put to use in Victoria's article instead of another free image cluttering up the info-box, I thought the same format could be followed here. — Arre 06:51, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Question

Hey Creativity, I am not sure if you will see this, but I just have a quick inquiry. I am trying to publish a character article for Mariah (Y&R) soon, (Sandbox here) and I am looking for more content for the reception section. Do you have access to Soap Opera Digest or Soaps in Depth magazines? If so, is there anything related to Camryn Grimes/her portrayal of Mariah that would be of use, which you could add to the sandbox? If not, thats okay, but I hope you see this. Thanks. — Arre 23:20, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

Hey there! I do have some Soap Opera Digests and Soaps in Depths lying around. I think I might have one where Grimes talks about when Mariah was crushing on Nick, which means there's probably some reception info in there too. I will check and if there's anything of worth for your article, I will for sure add it. Creativity97 23:13, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for this. Anything you can add, would be helpful :) — Arre 04:15, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
Hey, just wondering, have you found anything that could be added yet? — Arre 12:20, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi! Yes I do have some information for character development but nothing noteworthy for reception. I will add it later today. Apologies for the delays, I don't have very much time for Wikipedia anymore. Creativity97 16:59, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
