The article 470th Military Intelligence Brigade (United States) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable military unit. Unit does not meet MILHIST standards for inclusion, nor does it have significant verifiable coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I want to clarify, I am not stating that the unit isn't notable in the real world, but it does not meet our standards for notability. We do have articles on some units that are notable because of a unique mission, like 780th/704th MI, CIFA, ect. As well as many other articles that need to be deleted under this policy, but all in due time. If you feel this article is notable, please discuss on the article's talk page. Be prepared to show evidence of significant third part coverage, participation in significant conflicts or events. Sephiroth storm (talk) 22:38, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Actually a brigade will likely qualify IAW WP:MILUNIT. Moreover, WP:POTENTIAL should be considered. As the PROD is removed, these are moot points, but I think interested editors will continue to improve the article. – S. Rich (talk) 04:03, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your addition of units down to the company level at this article. However, because of WP:BURDEN, you must provide a source. Thus I've rolled all your edits back. Please revert me and add a source this time. PLease also be careful NOT to remove the information about the 63rd Brigade, which is valuable in its own right. Kind regards Buckshot06 (talk) 19:52, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
