Request for Rollback[edit]

Hi Daniel -- I've left you a question on your request for rollback here. Best, Lord Roem ~ (talk) 23:18, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lord Roem, thanks for the speedy reply. Sorry, but I couldn't figure out how to reply inline to your response to my request on the official Requests for Permissions page :-?. I was requesting permissions because I was trying to use a program called Igloo, which specifies requirements for use that are found here. I'm very new to this side of Wikipedia; Igloo was the only program that was straight forward to get running and I thought it might help making the task of finding vandalism easier. I do understand getting denied though, since I do not have any demonstrated abilities, as you've mentioned. I'll try out the Special:RecentChanges page. Thanks again for your help! Cheers Danielbullis (talk) 23:31, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, try out the RecentChanges page first, checking edits for potential vandalism by IPs. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Regards, Lord Roem ~ (talk) 00:09, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great, I've checked out the Recent Changes page; getting the hang of it. Two pages reverted so far! Thanks again for the help. Cheers! Danielbullis (talk) 09:02, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Just remember to leave a note (see the templates here) on any editor's talk page if you revert them for vandalism. All the best, Lord Roem ~ (talk) 16:54, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Thanks again for your help. Cheers! Danielbullis (talk) 19:02, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Billings Montana Page[edit]

There was a section on the page tagged with this: {{copypaste|section|http://www.prpl.info/parks/trails.html}} So I redid it as per tag. I will revert the edit back to my re-write. Thank You Sara goth (talk) 20:26, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok no worries :]. Thanks & Cheers. Danielbullis (talk) 20:46, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Can someone other than Sara now remove the tag if the problem is fixed? Montanabw(talk) 21:32, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Montanabw, I'm not actually affiliated with the project; have you tried posting this request on the Billings Montana talk page? Cheers! Danielbullis (talk) 23:53, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I thought you were the one who put on the copyvio tag. I mostly just lurk on that article due to WP:OWN issues. Montanabw(talk) 23:30, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, just a passerby - I was patrolling the Recent Changes page and was checking on the removal of a portion of the page that didn't have any comments (I was just on the look out for vandalism). In this case, it was what was described at the top of this thread between Sara and I. Thanks for following up though! Cheers, Danielbullis (talk) 00:34, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clevedon School[edit]

Nice work fighting the vandalism on the Clevedon School article. In future, when this sort of thing happens by IP-users or newly-registered users you can request something called semi-protection, which means that only established users can edit a page. Typically the article will be semi-protected for just a few days (first time around) which is usually enough for the vandals to get bored and move on. It will only be granted if there is a large amount of vandalism - as in this case. To request semi-protection visit WP:RPP. If you have any questions, just ask. --Bob Re-born (talk) 22:44, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

Rollback changes from unknown source[edit]

Hi Danielbullis: you left me a message at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:166.181.3.212 regarding changes to Moth. I assure you I have no idea who was using that IP address or why it is associated with my account (alerting me of your new message). I have never visited, let alone edited that article. Please take whatever steps you deem necessary to undo the changes from parties unknown. I always use my login to edit and to sign notes under that login. 166.181.3.100 (talk) 16:05, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

XML review[edit]

Hah, I had entirely forgotten that request. But thank you for noticing it. I do still care about the entry; feel free to shout at me if I can help out in any way.

Yeah, no worries :]. I left a couple comments on the XML Talk page. For what they're worth - feel free to completely disagree with me ;]. Cheers! Danielbullis (talk) 05:26, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
