Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jamiebijania (talk) 09:25, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Celebrate Your Life, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shirt58 (talk) 07:12, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Birbal Jha image[edit]

Hi, when, where and how did you obtain File:Dr. Birbal Jha.jpg? A similar image was deleted some time ago, so it is unlikely to be your own work as you claim. - Sitush (talk) 01:48, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Darrenmong. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Birbal Jha, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 14:09, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You and other accounts are still editing the article when you clearly have a conflict of interest. You should not be doing so - see the various warnings and advisory information above. - Sitush (talk) 04:01, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@RegentsPark: both Darrenmong and Vikram jha (talk · contribs) were editing Birbal Jha in December. That guy has something of a reputation for self-publicity and/or deploying socks/meats, possibly from among his students. What I've just noticed is that Vikram jha was also creating Draft:The Living Legends of Mithila late last year and it is the same structure as the original article that has just been deleted, as per the section below. I think this is probably a duck case but thought you might want to take a look. - Sitush (talk) 20:02, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about The Living Legends of Mithila[edit]

Hello, Darrenmong,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether The Living Legends of Mithila should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Living Legends of Mithila .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

A tag has been placed on Birbal Jha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Namaste March requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Notice

The article Healthsake has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

First, Wikipedia is not a dictionary. Second, it's a non-notable WP:Neologism. Though two citations are given, one is just a Flipboard jump to the other, and that one claims that the word has already entered the Collins dictionary. No, it hasn't—and Collins admitted words instantly like that, it wouldn't be a reputable dictionary. As it clearly shows on the dictionary's website, the word was submitted to the dictionary by its creator. And his having coined it is the sole context in which the word is discussed, so it seems very much like a promotional effort to coin a word and spread it around.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
