Inertia[edit]
Hello I am new to this, and not familiar with all the procedures. I am a 75-year-old retired chief scientist in physics (U. Michigan, M.S, 1963) Your description of mass inertia is correct as far as it goes, but the question remains: what causes inertia? I have the answer, and am willing to share it with you. To do this I must send you a copy of a paper I've written, "Deriving Mass Inertia and Time Interval Dilation." If you want a copy of my paper, you'll have to e-mail your address to me. I'm at v.g.smalley2@gmail.com My paper is in Word format and is less than 200 KB.

Principles[edit]

- Hi Sebastian. I'm embarrassed to say I'd actually forgotten all about that conversation. I really was in the middle of an enormous project at that point and by the time I finished it, the principles were lost in the mists of my terrible memory. Upon revisiting them, however, I definitely remain very interested.
- It's my long-standing tradition, because of a thing that happened a long time ago, to set my goals for each new year on 1 February rather than 1 January like most people do. I spend January reflecting on the year that just passed and thinking about what I want to accomplish in the new year. With that in mind, I'm going to take the rest of this month to contemplate the principles and perhaps start drafting my thoughts, and then I'll post the result in my userspace on or shortly after 1 February. I'll absolutely let you know when I do that.
