Your rollback request

Hello EdiOnjales, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Please remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism/spam, and that misuse of the tool, either by revert-warring with other users, or simply reverting edits you disagree with, can lead to it being removed. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 01:03, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Re: Redirects

(Copied here for reference) [Thanks for the help]... with the redirect issue on The Rest of the Story. I didn't mean for you to do the work for me, but I appreciate it. I knew how to fix the one I found but wasn't sure whether that would mess other things up. I'm glad there are people around here who are smarter than I am! :) -- edi(talk) 20:47, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

No problem, glad I could help. Richard0612 21:05, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

References

I added a few references, I have several books on the subject. I changed my login, because I am new and just plain forgot my password. Thanks for all you help.--Edmundosargento (talk) 19:11, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

(Copied here for reference) Excellent! Thanks for all the work you're doing on the article, and for keeping me informed. I worked hard a long time ago to get that article into decent condition but it's had very little significant work since then, so it's due for some improvement. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help with this article, or with anything else, for that matter. -- edi(talk) 21:14, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

RE:AIV

Hey there! Don't worry about this concern; jumping to a harsher warning is ok if the user is being disruptive. We have an 'only warning' for vandalism too ({{uw-vandalism4im}}), which you only have to give once. Just thought I'd let you know that you don't have to go through all 4 tiers in the future. Use the 'only warning' only for serious vandals, and not for people who may be experimenting. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 03:04, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for allaying my fears regarding skipping over warning levels. I'm barely beginning to learn how to use Huggle and I'm terrified of doing the wrong thing. My goal here is always, always to do the right thing and to be absolutely civil, but I know that no one is perfect, so I worry about inadvertent mistakes. I'll get more confident with experience, of course, but in the meantime, I appreciate the guidance.
Hey, don't worry about it! Everyone starts out by learning the ropes. You've been doing great work so far!
In terms of my userspace, thanks a ton for the compliments! Feel free to take bits and pieces (or the whole design, if you'd like) if you ever feel like reworking yours. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 03:28, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

* Smiles *

I highly doubt that. :) TheAE talk/sign 21:30, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Re: Oak Ridge Boys

(Copied here for reference) Wow, nice edits! I should tell you that I did tweak a couple of minor things after looking at your edits (let me know if any of my changes bother you), but I never would have seen the need for the changes that I made if you hadn't laid the foundation. Thanks for your hard work! -- edi(talk) 23:36, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

No problem with the tweaks. Good grammar is a good thing. --Pk800 (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Barnstar

(Copied here for reference) I know you already have one of these for essentially the same thing, but I want you to know that your work at WP:Cleanup is not only noticed but admired. I wish I were able to help you more than I do, and certainly if there's ever any specific thing I can do to help you out, don't hesitate to ask. -- edi(talk) 19:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the Barnstar. I do the stuff I do because I love information and fixing broken stuff... and because I'm trying to get WP:C down to no listings at all eventually (at this rate it'll take another 3 years. Those lists are sort of outdated in fuction. Still, It's very kind of you to recognize my work. I've seen your name around as well. You deserve no less recognition. Thank you. --Lendorien (talk) 18:00, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Number of WOL

(Re: this note) I got your message. I'm a student at WOLBI, but I think it must have been someone else who posted the info you asked about. However, I'll see what I can do about finding out the real number, if I find the time. Ben 10 6:34, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

(Copied here for reference) Cool, thanks so much for your response. I know you can only do so much, but I'll really appreciate any information you can get for me. Take your time, and just let me know if/when you get to it. Also... you've got some great stuff on your user page. I enjoyed reading it. :) -- edi(talk) 14:54, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome. Glad to be of assistance. And glad that you enjoyed my userpage. If you like to collect userboxes, check back now and then; I might have something new.-- Ben 10(talk) 15:35, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

re: suggestions

(Copied here for reference) Hi there. I just noticed this suggestion and then I looked at your contributions and noticed that you're fairly new around here. I wanted to make sure you know that you're more than welcome to make all the edits you want (as long as they're not destructive or disruptive, of course) and you don't have to ask others to do it. I'm about to go make the edit you suggested... you're absolutely right about it!... but I just wanted to say hi and encourage you to jump right in any time you want. And I'd be more than happy to help you if you have any questions. If I don't know the answer, I'll bet I can find someone who does. :) -- edi(talk) 02:46, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate your kind words of encouragement; however, regarding the article in question (Dr. Seuss), when I went to edit it, I found it locked. I'm not sure if I'm too new to be accorded the privilege of editing certain high-profile articles or whether that article was simply frozen (if the latter is the case, it's still frozen), but in either case I wasn't able and am not able to make changes to it. So, I made do. Maximilian Caldwell (talk) 22:12, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
(Copied here for reference) Hi there. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I just wanted to let you know, in case you haven't figured it out already, that the reason you couldn't edit the Dr. Seuss article is that it was (and still is, and probably will remain indefinitely) semi-protected. You can tell when this is the case because there's a silver padlock at the top right corner of the article space, right across from the title. (Other colors of padlocks denote different types of protection; you can look here if you're interested in learning more about it.)
Anyway, about semi-protection: It means that the article can only be edited by autoconfirmed users, which (for most people; there are rare exceptions) basically means those who have been registered for more at least 4 days and have made at least 10 edits. My understanding is that the edits can be of any type; I don't think there's any restriction that they have to be mainspace (article) edits. And that brings me to my main point (finally!). You've been here far more than 4 days, and I just had a look at your contributions and it looks like you made your 10th edit yesterday. So congratulations! If my calculations are correct, it looks like you can most likely edit just about anything you want to edit now.
If this turns out to be incorrect and/or you have further questions or problems, please don't hesitate to contact me. In the meantime... happy editing! -- edi(talk) 21:20, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Your edits to Biddy Early

The Modest Barnstar
User:EdiOnjales is hereby awarded this most modest honor for their more than modest work to improve Biddy Early which has impressed Trilobitealive (talk) 00:27, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Feel free to move this to your user page or delete it or keep it here. It is merely a token of recognition for your effort.Trilobitealive (talk) 00:27, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

(I'll respond here per the instructions on your talk page.) Thank you so much! This is my first one and it's exciting! I really am honored even though it's just a little digital image of a star. The best part is the kind words. :) -- edi(talk) 03:09, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
You're quite welcome! I'm most impressed by the well organized multiple positive changes which brought the article up a great bit in its quality all at once. These minor characters of history deserve the sort of article you've helped create. Trilobitealive (talk) 01:08, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Italics

(Copied here for reference) Oops, sorry about that! (See also the edits immediately before and after the referenced one.) I wasn't sure, checked WP:MOS and that usage wasn't listed, so I removed the formatting. I trust your judgment though, so thanks for the fix. :) -- edi(talk) 03:46, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

No worries. You're welcome. Take care and regards, MarmadukePercy (talk) 03:49, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
