June 2012[edit]

What will happen if I leave too many unsigned comments? Adjkasi (discuss me) 14:08, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Someone will suggest adding {{YesAutosign}} (see Template:YesAutosign) to your user page or user talk page, so that SineBot does it for you but it looks like you did. Dru of Id (talk) 15:03, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chile edit[edit]

Why you reverted my change to Chile and identified it as vandalism? I updated the name of the president of the supreme court to the current one: http://www.biobiochile.cl/2011/12/19/ruben-ballesteros-asume-como-nuevo-presidente-de-la-corte-suprema.shtml http://www.poderjudicial.cl/modulos/Home/Noticias/PRE_noticias.php?cod=4142&opc_menu=0&st=0&opc_menu=&opc_item= You should be informed before reverting changes

Well, I reverted the edit because it was unsourced.

The last revision in the page Chile: revision:497864778 Solarra:Good Faith Revert. Please source it. <3 (HG) Adjkasi (discuss me) 13:25, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism?[edit]

I edited the page for Russia without adding information needing citation. I changed the wordings in some parts to be more clear and I added a photo in which sources were provided in the link to the main page (State Quality Mark of the USSR).

The fact that this was marked as vandalism and reverted I find to be excessive and abusive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaelwuzthere (talkcontribs) 16:55, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting my edits[edit]

What the hell? Why do you revert my contributions? You must clearly see that they're not a vandalism and that they're factually correct. --Clidog (talk) 06:38, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto! Panic is not fear, yet you reverted my improvement of the "panic" page, which cites fear a a definition of panic. These are two different emotions. Change it back. Anonymous from Tokyo, 4:56 PM June 29, 2012 (JST)

Fast editing[edit]

How can I make more than 1000 edits on Wikipedia per month? Adjkasi (discuss me) 05:35, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Before reading anything I write, please take a look at this. :) /// Anyway, if you don't care that edit counts don't matter, I recommend using automated tools like Twinkle or STiki to revert vandalism - and signing up at the CVUA is the BEST way to learn to use these tools! :D Theopolisme TALK 05:40, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will second what Theopolisme stated above. Edit counts don't mean much, as do the contributions behind them. I have given you Rollback, now Remember Huggle is not a race :) take care. Calmer Waters 02:06, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: User:Kwerty[edit]

Hello Adjkasi, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Kwerty, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:09, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for rollback[edit]

Hi Adjkasi. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Calmer Waters 05:27, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revoke talk page editing of WOLfan112 (talk · contribs)[edit]

{{admin help}} You must revoke the talk page editing of user WOLfan112 (talk · contribs).
The given reason is: Repeatedly requesting unblock request but still declined by an administrator. Adjkasi (discuss me | changes) 06:01, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think the admins can handle if the the abuse of talk page editing privileges continue. You'd probably have better luck requesting this of at one of the blocking admins' talk page, if you really think it's needed. Avicennasis @ 07:23, 7 Tamuz 5772 / 07:23, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Care to explain why you revert my last edit please. What is there less sourced than the paragraph "Second project" which I added back in February. Thanks, Explorationofspace (talk) 14:50, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted edits[edit]

I believe that my edits to Musa Smith were helpful. I do not understand why they were reverted. Could you please explain? 64.134.243.147 (talk) 19:35, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The extra room for the info box image looked bad and there was room for another image in the body. Also, at the end of the Ravens thing, I was just summing things up. One might ask, how did Smith contribute more on offense? Well, I stated because he had two hundred and however many yards and two scores, which was more than he ever had before. I would like either a clear explanation or for my edits to be reverted back. It's definetely not a clear cut case of vandalism. I'll wait for an answer. 69.137.153.197 (talk) 02:51, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Manila[edit]

Why did you revert my Manila edit? All I was doing was linking capital city and Philippines. There was no removal of content as stated by the person who reverted it before you. Calcio San Paolo Padova[edit]

Why your edits? The article is not vandalism. Please you read http://www.sanpaolocalcio.it/COMUNICATO-STAMPA-PAOLO-REBELLATO-NUOVO-PRESIDENTE-DEL-SAN-PAOLO.htm and so not to cancel my contributions. Thanks--93.56.240.196 (talk) 06:00, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

GLobal News Network and Global Pinoy Cinema[edit]

Hello!! Why you revert the two pages of both Global News Network and Global Pinoy Cinema. I just to include their official Facebook and Twitter accounts on both channel (except Global Pinoy Cinema does not have a website yet). Its not neither spam nor vandal one. The update did not patch any security hole in java on Leopard, it simply removes flashback from intel based machines and then disables java and outdated versions of flash player. No more updates are being released for Leopard. Please quit reverting this change as it is not correct. Thank you!

Your revert to Medical Reserve Corps[edit]

Hello Adjkasi - I read your message and would like to discuss them with you. Importantly, please note: my edits to Medical Reserve Corps are decidedly NOT vandalism; I made them in a constructive effort to make the lists more useful for those interested in volunteering or in learning who volunteers with the organization (which I am intimately familiar with). I know the organization welcomes--in fact, needs--more volunteers of various stripes, and ordering the lists either in terms of "status" or in some other manner - other than alphabetically or in an explicitly explained way - is unconstructive. I would appreciate and look forward to your reply. - Cornbrea4 (talk) 11:53, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot refrain from sharing my deep concern and disappointment that you would view my good faith edits as vandalism, which is an extreme assessment. Again, I look forward to your explanation. - Cornbrea4 (talk) 11:57, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The first edit you reverted from Cornbrea4 (to Blog) wasn't particularly constructive, but the second one was. Please exercise more caution when reverting vandalism and respond to concerns people bring up on your user page, otherwise admins may have to think about removing your access to the rollback function. —Tom Morris (talk) 12:21, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Development of Windows 3.1[edit]

Responding to inquires[edit]

Hello Adjkasi. I have noticed that you have archived you latest messages on your talk page. These "older messages" included questions of why you have recently reverted and rolled-back particular edits. A few of these I would be curious to know why you did so also. If you are going to be using a tool like Rollback to undo vandalism or some other qualifying edit, then you will also need to, on occasion, be able to explain why when asked. Sometimes, a simple "because it was vandalism" will be fine. Sometimes it won't be and sometimes someone will point out a mistake we have made. Rollback has been removed before from users because an editor refused to explain themselves when asked nicely. Please acknowledge. Calmer Waters 17:18, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Hi User,

Im sorry for the disruption in the articles Xerxes and Artaxerxes. These articles have errors in them which can be backed up by many sources. It's these sources that I am having trouble linking to the edit. Can you help me? If you like you can check the sources yourself and see if they are legit and do the edit for me.

Sorry again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.162.57.227 (talk) 10:08, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Vjkdua[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Spam and be much more careful with {{db-advert}} tagging; this page is far from qualifying for speedy deletion. Only pages with 100% or nearly 100% advertising are included, and that's simply because with such pages there's nothing that would remain if simple editing removed the advertising; such is not the case with this page. Nyttend (talk) 11:46, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your revert to Hirakud Dam[edit]

You reverted an edit to this article, however you reverted back to another problem. You reverted the changing of a name to upper case, however this was a parameter to a dam infobox and it was not positioned properly to be an infoboc parameter. Be careful when reverting to ensure you aren't reverting to a page which has a problem with it. Callanecc (talkcontribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 12:12, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion criterion G5[edit]

I see that you have repeatedly nominated User:Nitin0006/sandbox for speedy deletion under criterion G5. However, as you can see here, that criterion is for "Pages created by banned or blocked users in violation of their ban or block" (original emphasis). Creation of a page does not violate a block if the block was not imposed until after that creation. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:59, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback removal[edit]

I have removed access to Rollback due to either your inability or refusal to address or at least respond to challenges to some of your recent reverts. I have viewed many of the reverts you have done, and many of the clear cut examples are handled well. The problem appears to be that you are reverting things which do not constitute obvious vandalism. I told you before that Huggle is not a race and that you may need to address and communicate with other editors if it appears there may have been a mistake done or if it is reasonable that the edit may have been a good faith edit. If your not going to be collegial, then stick to the undo button and use an edit summary. Calmer Waters 15:53, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to block reasons[edit]

You have at least twice changed reasons given in block notices for blocked editors. Please do not do this. If you think there is a better reason that an administrator could have given then you may like to suggest to that administrator that they change the reason. However, you have no right to overrule the administrator's reason by giving your own preferred reason. This is particularly so when you leave the administrator's signature under your changed reason, as you did here, thereby misrepresenting the administrator as having said something that they did not say. In fact, that applies to almost all talk page edits, whether by administrators or ordinary editors. It is never acceptable to misrepresent another editor as having said something they did not say, no matter how strongly you think it would have been better had they said it.
