Dilnoza: Emma, I totally understand that to find information on your topic (History of Violence) is quite difficult due to the lack of literature. But still you manage to find something. It seems to me that violence against women can be find in customs, traditional practices, and "cultural" rituals. If you look at the history of traditions, you can find there a lot of bans/violence directed towards women. If you want to talk about that within history of VAW section, it is important to be very objective and reliable. The issue of culture and traditional practices is very, very sensitive. I would suggest to focus maybe on the traditions which are gone/disappeared like burning witches, as you mentioned. I let you know if I find something within my culture :) There is a chart of fatal and non-fatal outcomes of VAW. I think you could put it under impact on society section. I will send it to you. ANother thing is that the title of section in Impact on SOCIETY, which, as far as I understand, includes both male and female, institutions, state; and it would be great to avoid this narrowing. Impact on society, in my understanding, is not about only Health aspect, but also can be economic, political, social. The Political economy of VAW by Jacqui True can be very helpful in this case.
