The Working Man's Barnstar

Nevada Public radio[edit]

Individual stations are notable and get articles. By combining these you mess up the categories that are different for each station. 01:23, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Nevada Public Radio is an organization and not a radio station. The stations are licensed by the FCC. Wikipedia guidelines allow licensed stations to have articles. Repeaters are the exception and they should be listed in the article for the station that they are rebroadcasting with a redirect to them. Vegaswikian (talk) 02:40, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mass radio station article creating[edit]

In the future, please read up on the naming conventions for articles on radio stations, as explained at WP:WPRS. More than half of the articles you've created are not located at their proper callsign, and therefore have been moved. Thanks. JPG-GR (talk) 04:54, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Contemporary Hit Radio Stations in Alaska requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --Rtphokie (talk) 12:32, 26 September 2008 (UTC) Rtphokie (talk) 12:32, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article WRTX (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

apparently non-notable band, article without references, text largely a cut-n-paste from the band's website

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
