Reverted Craig Mabbitt and need some help

I've reverted Craig Mabbitt page, and now I need some help. The user, name is User talk:Stgw, he was so disturbing, changing escape the fate, Craig Mabbitt, and all albums of escape the fate's genre, and he deleted the contents from escape the fate and Craig Mabbitt article, what can i do to make him stop? I understand that some of my parts about the connection between "Auld lang syne" and "Jipy jay" are unclear, but I sincerely believe that the other "international versions" are kind of uncited as well, so I don't understand why my contribution has been deleted. Vandal detection

Hey! I saw you've just reverted the article about All Dogs Go to Heaven 2. I reported the vandalism case to another administrator though. Is there a way we can block the vandal user's IP address? Etymology chapter is almost out of sources. Addition includes a lot of links, what is equal to the source. If you think there is a need of any more sources, please mark it exactly. Deleting without trying to improve the content is considered to be a heavy vandalism. Tim Gustard

I note that you have visited the Tim Gustard page in the past. It gets constantly vandalised by Filthemill, Rocketrod put it right but Filthemill seems to have some personal vendetta against the artist. The page can be protected. Just launch a report at WP:RPP and an Administrator will access your request, although not all requests will succeed. But first, please read WP:PROTECT to learn about the different types of protection before you make a decision. Yeah, so what you're saying is you calculated a dollar figure based on the commercial exchange rates in April 2013, for a figure of net worth calculated in April 2012 in pounds. It says that "The 27 Club is a term used to refer to popular musicians who have died at the age of 27", which Slawek fell into. He was the bassist of a world-touring band, of rather large proportions. Herbert (Family Guy)

There has been on-going debates as to what the character's sexual orentation is. The RS to support what Henry said is in the article "Herbert was not originally a pedophile; Henry pitched the idea to the writers of the show, leading to the decision to make him one." but I also added the RS above to support this.

HurluGumene, I believe you mean well, but you need to understand the distinction between a fan site, and an encyclopaedia article. You should not contribute your own view of a band's recordings and history. You should not fill bands' articles with details that are far better found on their own website (like their future touring schedule and set lists). And you really need to collaborate with other editors, and follow guidelines and policies, (unless you can give good reason not to). You do not own articles. You are not alone in deciding what should be in them. Yes, that means compromising, which is sometimes difficult. But if you could manage to do this you would find your time on Wikipedia far more productive and enjoyable. If you can't manage this, you'll find that everyone's patience only goes so far. My revision was correct, in that the director of the STA made this statement in 2010, and the current STA position as expressed on their website is that this is a matter of personal choice: as stated in the previous sentence of this wikipedia article. In fact, I would suggest that whether the quote should be attributed to the director or to the STA doesn't matter - the point is that this quote is of only historic interest since the STA's current position on the subject accords with that expressed in this article. I don't think that "wished to change what is said by the STA on the subject of wearing underwear" is an accurate representation of what I said in my original message, above, and it turns out that neither the STA nor Brian Wilton said it anyway. My point was that it was outdated and doesn't express the position taken on the STA website currently. It's generally better to rely on original rather than secondary sources, particularly when the secondary source is a three years out of date newspaper article. Issues with a User and with an Articles of Deletion page

Assuming you are a moderator, I would like to raise some issues and concerns regarding an AfD I am currently invovled in, as well as a a particular user specifically. First off, I would like to request some kind of admin to try to bring Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daniel Beckwitt to an end. The arguments seem to be between a number of established accounts arguing delete (myself included) and a large number of anonymous (IPs) arguing keep, one of which should be banned (I'll talk about that later). The page has been kept despite all of that.

Second, there is one user in specific who seems to have demonstrated a clear Conflict of Interest. IP:98.215.9.100 has been arguing to keep the page, as well as previously added the subject, Daniel Beckwitt, to the page (List of computer criminals despite him having questionable notability. IP:98.215.9.100 has also been very vocal and combative on the AfD page, debating with many of the users saying delete. These things combined lead me to believe that IP:98.215.9.100 should be banned from wikipedia, at least for a period of time, and have his comments purged from the AfD since they are all very redundant and (honestly) pretty bad (lots of rhetorical fallacies, blatant attempts to compare X to Y when they have no real connection, FE compaing Daniel Beckwitt to Yves Chaudron claiming that the two cases are identical in notability).

Project Ares

I don't especially care about this page, but having a redirect to Smallville, which doesn't mention Project Ares, is not acceptable. Either the page should be left as it was (I did, in fact, come to it looking for information about the Minecraft server after seeing it on a YouTuber's server list showing over a factor of ten more logged-in users than I'd ever seen on a Minecraft server), or it should be deleted. I don't really care whether it's speedily deleted, or left with a notability tag, but please don't keep reverting it to a nonsense redirect. There is precedent for deleting redirects to articles that do not mention the subject named in the redirected-from page, even when there is some relationship. See for instance Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion#Reverse lottery.

I'm putting it back with the notability tag. If you want to change that to speedy (I would suggest db-a7 -- no assertion of notability, general category), I won't object, but if you revert it to a nonsense redirect again, I'll have to submit it to Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion. Nothing has changed, the article was wrong to begin with. Are you an SNP member? Murray himself described himself as British today. The consensus on the Talk Page is British. In any case, Nationality isn't a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact - there's no such nationality as Scottish.

Instead of playing judge and jury, why not stick to the facts and pretend this is an encyclopaedia for a minute?

Describing himself as a British winner does not in anyway change the fact that he has also described himself as Scottish. He can be both. It is not an either/or scenario. Are you even bothering to read past discussion on this topic, or are you going to argue all the same irrelevant points that have been gone though before? Please also don't fall into the trap of assuming that all editors are grinding a political axe. Some of us are here to write an encyclopaedia, and it's good manners to consider that everyone else is too.
I don't see any consensus for changing this article on the talk page. And as far as Wikipedia is concerned, UK nationals are precisely a matter of opinion. The text under History of the club is actually a direct word for word copy of the text contained on the club's copyrighted webpage. 3. Your “update” includes the removal the factually correct information relating to the height of Baltinglass Hill, as well as factually correct information relating to archaeological artifices being housed in the National Museum of Ireland.

So keeping those pieces of information in mind kindly inform Baltinglass GAA club how they can go about removing copyrighted information from Wikipedia, I’m sure you do not need me to provide you with the contact details. The error in that sentence is common, I agree, but it is no more nor less common in one location than another, and so it is absolutely not a question of national usage. The grammar in the article is correct UK grammar by any measure, and is in agreement with every other similar Wikipedia article on UK bands. Your references, far from justifying your case, argue against it. Reverted Change

Hi, I have a quick question about a change of mine you reverted. I'm new to wikipedia so perhaps I made a mistake but I'd like to understand exactly what was wrong with the change:

I made a change which I felt was helpful but it was closed as "Cite does not verify what's written".

The page I sighted is a really useful looking web page that lets you build a dress sporran from its component parts. I added the citation to the end of a paragraph that was talking about all the different components that make up a dress sporran and how variable they are. The link seemed like a helpful citation to help people visualise what was being described.

Sporran

Thanks for the feedback. The reason I thought it would be helpful was because of the 'builder' element allowing people to explore the various components of a sporran. Would you be able to advise on a better way to link that which won't be rejected. I agree the builder could do with more information to aide the learning process which is something I've requested and which is apparently in progress already. Three years old message

Well, I'm not sure who I'm talking to, but obviously neither are you!

OK, so I'm a perfectly law-abiding user of Wikipedia, and today I get a 'message' accusing me of vandalising an article I've never read. Apparently I vandlaised it three years ago, so why I get the message today is a mystery to me.

The message was left three years ago, for the right person at the time the vandalism occured. Please read what it says at the bottom of your talk page; "If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users." --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:03, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Hello, please tell me what is wrong with my edit (enhancement) of 27 Club? If I understand correctly the "27 Club" means musicians that died at 27 years old and my post follows this rule.
