Possible COI warning for Heir (tournament)[edit]

Information icon Hello, Exilexi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Heir (tournament), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). In particular, I noticed that you claim the photo in the article as your own work, which would at the minimum imply that you attended the event. Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 22:13, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, we are currently at a community event with 25 editors (meta:Wikipedia for Peace/Wikipedia for Peace: Queer Edit 2022). AdamPrideTN is one of the people here, and we did not know that this person was blocked from editing. Now, we have 20 newcomers & 4 experienced users (outside of this person) sharing our IP address until the end of the camp tomorrow morning - would it please be possible to unblock the IP range until the event ends tonight? We're happy to make sure that AdamPrideTN does not edit Wikipedia until tomorrow. After this, we're all going back home and using our individual IP addresses, so they can be easily blocked. We're so sorry for the inconvenience. Exilexi (talk) 10:08, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
