Hi Faiz
On Wikipedia there are many articles about Islam. Most of the people who read them are not Muslim. The world is a big place. Here in the West, people don't even believe in God. When people here in the West see statements of Sunnis who hate Shias and the Shias who hate the Sunnis, on wikipedia, they are vindicated in their opinion that religion only causes violence. Is that what Allah teaches Muslims in the Quran? Think about it, is Allah a violent God that even gets Muslims to fight Muslims? People here in the West want to read about Islam and Allah. They want to know about Allah and his creation and mercy, not Sunni Shia hatred. I see you spend a lot of time on wikipedia and I hope you try to encourage harmony and follow the teachings of Allah and help to improve the content on Islam in a neutral harmonious fashion on Wikipedia and shine as a eminent example of a good Muslim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.200.62 (talk) 23:41, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello!
Thank you for uploading various images to Wikipedia. But i would like to bring to your notice one another important aspect of the Wikimedia Group called as Wikimedia Commons. Commons is a free media repository, where all images, audio and video files can be saved. There is perfectly no harm in uploading images to English Wikipedia alone. But uploading them on Commons makes it available for use in other projects like Hindi Wikipedia, Wikivoyage, Wikiquote, etc. Hence i would request you to upload all free images to Commons. You have contributed many images here. They will be sooner or later all moved to Commons. Hence it would be better if you yourself upload it there. In case you have doubts, feel free to contact me here or at Commons or any of the admins or experienced editors. But also note that Commons is a place only for free images. Images used with rationale should be uploaded to wikipedia only.

Shi'a view of Abu Bakr

I made some changes to the Shi'a view of Abu Bakr page. Faiz the links between Alis and Abu Bakr family that I put down are correct. All the Sunni and Shia and the historians books confirm this. I initially found out this link from Nahj al-Balagha Sermon 71, Sermon delivered on the death of Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr (who was killed by Muawiyah I's forces) and Nahj al-Balagha Letter 27, Letter 34, Letter 35. Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr was raised by Ali. So I reseached this further. So then I looked at his son Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakrs who was Jafar al-Sadiq grand father. At the end of the day we need to show the truth and it will enhance every ones understanding and reduce conflict. It is very important that people see the truth. Please undo the delete of my text. If you want me to change it please let me know. I will add the reference is required that is no problem. It is the Shia view that Jafar al-Sadiq is the great grand son was Abu Bakr too. Faiz I wanted to update Hassans page because Hassan did something that needs a lot of courage. He saved a lot of lives by avoiding war. I was going to contact you at some point to ask you for your advice.
Faiz on the Shi'a view of Abu Bakr I put Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr story there because he was Abu Bakrs grand son and Asma was his daughter. Both were very strong supporters of husseins and the story showed how close Alis family and Abu Barks family were. Then on top of that Jafar al-Sadiq was the grandson of both Ali and Abu Bakr. If you needed references you should have just asked me for references. There are thousands of references showing that Jafar al-Sadiq was Abu Bakrs and Alis great grandson. I could add references. From the research I have done, it looks like every one was manipulated by Marwan. But later every one understood they they had been manipulated. This hadith shows that they all soon found out they had all been manipulated.
Sahih Al Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 352 : Narrated by Yusuf bin Mahak [31]
"Marwan had been appointed as the governor of Hijaz by Muawiya. He delivered a sermon and mentioned Yazid bin Muawiya so that the people might take the oath of allegiance to him as the successor of his father (Muawiya). Then 'Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr told him something whereupon marwan ordered that he be arrested. But 'Abdur-Rahman entered 'Aisha's house and they could not arrest him. marwan said, "It is he ('AbdurRahman) about whom Allah revealed this Verse: 'And the one who says to his parents: 'Fie on you! Do you hold out the promise to me..?'" Book deletion discussion
I noticed that you've taken an interest in the discussions regarding the deletion of four Islamic books...and unfortunately, nobody other than you and I seem to be interested at this point in time. Obviously, that wouldn't really lead to a desirable result (either confirming that the books aren't notable or confirming that they are notable). Since you've taken an interest, do you know of a way whereby we could encourage more users to participate in the discussion without falling into Wikipedia:Canvassing? Assalam o Alaikum Brother! You reverted my edit here and you also did not give any reason, please try to explain your edits, atleast briefly! Anyway Brother! The Hindi Article includes this line in Native Speakers Total, including Urdu: 490 million[2], But Urdu Article says Hindi-Urdu: 490 million[2], so I think that my edits were justified, In the Urdu Article, the line should be improved and instead of Hindi-Urdu: 490 million[2], there should be written Total, including Hindi: 490 million[2]. Please let me know the criteria for making somebody an Ayatollah on wikipedia. It's surprising to see only 2 names from India, under those living. Out of the two names one has no reference to the title, yet my edit was reverted.

During the last few months, I had some time off, so I looked at the pages relating to Islam on wikipedia. Over the last few years, a lot of incorrect material against Islam has built up on Wikipedia. I went through thousands of books in the London School of Oriental and African Studies library and on the internet. Looked through Sunni, Shia and the Roman books from that period. There is a lot of material on Wikipedia about Islam that is totally incorrect. One just has to look at the pages "Islamic views on slavery", "Muhammad and slavery" and "Ma malakat aymanukum". Even people Muhammad cared for deeply and provided for through the Bait Al Mall charity have been presented as slaves on wikipedia. Unfortunately the Muslims on Wikipedia spend more time fighting each other and discrediting people from the early history of Islam like Ali and Abu Bakr than they do actually going through wikipedia and correcting the incorrect material on Wikipedia that is in many cases totally incorrect and against Islam. In the process, unfortunately these arguments, give Muhammad and Islam a very bad name. I looked into Ali's family and Abu Bakrs family and realised that many early Scholars like Jafar al Sadiq and Qasim his grandfather from his mother side are as much related to Ali as they are to Abu Bakr. Ali even raised Abu Bakrs son Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr. Muslims are best off showing Ali's knowledge on the Ali's page and his scholarly achievements and his character. Fights between the Shias and the Sunnis give a very bad impression of Ali, Muhammad and Islam. The same is true on all the other Islam pages. Pushing sectarian views just gives a bad impression of Islam. Many of these views are based on history books written hundreds of years after the events and are exaggerated. Even Al Tabri and Nahj al-Balagha were history book written 300 years later. People ignore the Quran but concentrate on history books that were written 300 years later. Many of the conflicts on wikipedia are over the land at Fadak. Considering the level of resistance Muhammad was having at the time, I am sure many people at the time of Muhammad would have been saying Muhammad invented a religion to enrich his family. He took away the land from the Jews in Madina and gave it to his family members. Many people these days would then have said the same. You only get a complete picture once you read through the Sunni, Shia and the Roman books from the period. It was a tragic story of the Arabs going into Syria and Iraq that had just gone through the Byzantine-Sassanid Wars. Many people in Syria and Iraq hated each other. After going in, the Arabs from the desert started getting tempted by money and wealth in Syria and Iraq. What started as a small thing of Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr showing the Egyptians the house of Authman ended with Marwan and the Kawarij manipulating every one and a huge loss of life. Cousins fighting one another. Ali had a very difficult situation on his hand. Just image what was going through the minds of Hassan and Husein. Its a very tragic story, a lesson to all of us, a choice between Money and children or God. Aisha later realised she had been manipulated. When Marwan became the governor of Madina you could see the tensions between Aisha and Marwan. Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr and Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr were both killed by the umayyads. Later there were very close links between Abu Bakrs family and Alis family. Jafar al sadiq is a result of that. Its better to make the effort and find the truth, even if it hurts ones views and is contrary to ones views. If you have some time please look at the pages "Islamic views on slavery", "Muhammad and slavery" and "Ma malakat aymanukum". Try to be more constructive. We could change the future but not the past. It is obviously scanned from a piece of paper - not something you created in in a piece of image editing software from a blank map.
