In response to your feedback

This is a common problem within wikipedia. If you notice, or think someone is being biased, you can try talking to them about the problem first, or pointing them out to an admin if you think they are doing it on purpose.

In response to your feedback

Do you use the WP:Watchlist already? Also, there would be WP:TWINKLE.

Lectonar (talk) 15:11, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Dear Lectonar, I've already use WP:Watchlist and will try WP:TWINKLE. Thank you again. :) --Freemesm (talk) 16:06, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Then there is only one solution: try not to keep so many pages in sight; I think I have about 600 pages on my watchlist, and that is more than enough. Lectonar (talk) 16:58, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

E-mail

Instead of listing your email adress on your userpage, you could activate the email function under your "preferences" (see WP:EMAIL). Cheers. Lectonar (talk) 15:13, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Dear Lectoner, many many thanks for your response. I've already done that. According to your suggestion going to remove that email address from user page. :) As a newbie in english wikipedia, can I disturb you to have help in editing? Thanking you in advance. :) --Freemesm (talk) 16:04, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Just go ahead, but even I do not know everything :). I am not very knowledgeable concerning images and the like. Lectonar (talk) 16:55, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
Actually I've some knowledge of editing in Bengali Wikipedia. But that is not very busy like English wikipedia. I've sound knowledge about wiki markups. So don't worry. :) I'm not very familiar with wiki rules like wp:BLP, wp:NPOV, challenging biased articles etc. Hope, you can help me here. :)--Freemesm (talk) 18:33, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

Help regarding the Shahbag article

Dear Freemesm, you have added a reference at the Historical Context section of the 2013 Shahbag Protest article. But unfortunately the reference tag you have provided does not have a previous declaration, as a result an error is being shown. Please fix this problem at your convenient time if possible. Thanks for your effort! Regards -- Tarif from Bangladesh (talk) 19:16, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

I have found the corresponding reference in the article 1971 Bangladesh atrocities. Thanks again. -- Tarif from Bangladesh (talk) 19:29, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks Tarif. Too many newbies are editing on that article. It is needed continuous cleanup. It impossible to do that alone. Could you please spend some time to do that? Together it will be much easier. What do you think?--Freemesm (talk) 19:34, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

About too many photos

I totally agree with you - there are too many photos in the 2013 Shahbag Protest photo gallery, and it sort of drives the focus away from the main topic. But then of course, everyone who showed solidarity wants to be up there: I suggest we should think about creating another article only listing all the communities/schools who showed support. And also citing the sources in that section: most of them are just Facebook photo albums with photos ranging from 100 to down to 8 photos! A very few of them are sourced with a news article, only 10-12 of them I believe. So, yeah that's a mess too.

Another point - someone questioned the credibility of Shahbag claiming it as all politics, in a paragraph under the domestic section, can you notify the author to cite the source, make it not biased, and keep his POV out of this?

Explain me where I am wrong?

Recently you deleted my edits from 2013 Shahbag Protest, I appreciate your modification but there should have some logical reasons. I wrote blogger Rajib is also named as Thaba Baba with reference, was this wrong? If I am wrong clarify me. mamunbmb (talk) February, 19, 2013; 02:30(EST)

You put your opinion that he was killed for his anti islamic activities. It is WP:OR vio. No media ensure that he is killed only for his anti islamic activities.--Freemesm (talk) 07:40, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
I never mentioned that he is killed for anti-islamic writings, I wrote that "had written blogs against Islam, Prophet Muhammad (SM)", it doesn't mean that he is killed for that! There have no doubt he satirized islam/Muhammad (SM) in his facebook pages. I do believe that his brutal killing activities might involve Jamat/Shibir, however, nothing is proven yet. Be neutral and put the truth to wiki article! mamunbmb (talk) 08:45, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Really? Writing blogs against Islam and Prophet Muhammad (SM) doesn't mean that he is anti islamic? Moreover your tone of writing was not according to WP:NPOV.--Freemesm (talk) 10:09, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
Obviously he was anti-islamic. Whether my English is poor or you didn't read carefully my words! My tone was very transparent and not biased! Same message for you "your tone of writing was not according to WP:NPOV" mamunbmb (talk) 02:11, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, the article is not a crap, it is based on authentic references. Secondly, it doesn't matter what do you want and what not, things should be according to Wikipedia policies. Thirdly, user Prtanu changed the name and redirected it without any discussion or notice. So, I reverted it. --Rossi101 (talk) 13:59, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Rossi101

Freemesm, comments like this are totally inappropriate. Instead of insulting users' contributions and threatening them, I would suggest talking to them reasonably and trying to reach consensus, lest your threats of 'reporting' their actions unintentionally boomerang. 2013 Bangladesh riots

Can you find me a source that makes it clear that Jamaat-Shibir was uniquely or even mostly responsible for the deaths? The source you quoted says some policemen were targeted by Jamaat-Shibir and injured in clashes. This is obviously not the same as saying that most of the people who died were killed by Jamaat-Shibir. If such a source cannot be found, it would be inappopriate to talk of "the violence by Jamaat-Shibir" in relation to the deaths of its own members. Unless they somehow stole police guns and started shooting themselves en masse, which is unlikely to have happened. :P eh bien mon prince (talk) 19:33, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

I don't mean that. If you check every news related to this issue, you will fiend that Jamaat-Shibir activists ate attacking on police first. That causes the clash. So obviously they should take the responsibility.--FreemesM (talk) 19:38, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
For your information please check these links, which says Shibir activists snatch arms from police and bit them! [2] [3] [4] [5]--FreemesM (talk) 19:41, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
I'm not talking about responsibility for starting the clashes, I'm talking about responsibility for the deaths. Is there any single reliable source that says Jamaat-Shibir was uniquely or even mostly responsible for the deaths, yes or no?--eh bien mon prince (talk) 19:46, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
You have changed "On the following day (1 March), the violence by Jamaat-Shibir continued" by "On the following day (1 March), the clashes between Jamaat-Shibir and security forces continued"
Which is clearly an effort to generalize the activities of Jamaat-Shibir and cop. None of these source say that police first attack on Jamaat-shibir first, every time Jamaat-shibir did it. Now tell me who continued the clash?--FreemesM (talk) 22:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
You didn't answer the question, which wasn't who started it, or continued it, or ended it, but who caused the deaths. If you mention "violence by Jamaat-Shibir" and "40+ dead" in the same breadth, clearly you are giving the impression that the two are related. So I can only ask you again, can you prove that this is the case or not?--eh bien mon prince (talk) 22:36, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
If you drop yourself from a heel, then who is responsible for that? You are attacking on civilian, shoot on cop, then who will be bear the responsibility? I cant get your point, what I've reverted doesn't tell anything about who caused the deaths, it tells who continues the clash.--FreemesM (talk) 06:04, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Your recent editing history at Ghulam Azam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. DMacks (talk) 01:50, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

A few things

Thanks for your work on the top 4! I'm glad that I was proved wrong about the lack of editors on the page. If possible, though, would it be possible for you to request renaming of your files so that the "SVG" or "vectorised" part is no longer in the name? I know the Commons uploader has a bug that doesn't let you upload files with the name as a raster, but they are allowed, and it would be great to have slightly cleaner names.

In your file descriptions, too, try to use local links. Putting a colon before a file name, as in [[:File:Foo.svg]] will stop it from showing the image in the box, and if the file is only on Wikipedia and not commons, try [[w:File:Foo.svg]].

Also, I notice from your gallery that you worked on an SVG of the semipermeable membrane. There is also an SVG I worked on (briefly) of the same image that predates yours. I don't know which one is better (yours has far better colours, but the 3D effect on the other one is good) but it seems silly to have two. What do you think? We could try merging the two, perhaps?

Thanks again for your work, and hopefully I'll see you on the main lab at some point, too.  :) NikNaks talk - gallery 20:23, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi NikNaks, thanks for providing helpful suggestion for renaming m uploaded files. I will rename those in your suggested way. Now lets talk about "semipermeable membrane". Off course it is not good to to keep both of them. Yours one is really great! In my uploaded semipermeable membrane file, most of the wiki articles are linked. So it will be better if you upload yours one in my uploaded image page as modified one. Then you can delete yours old one. What do you think? Will it work?
Actually I am amateur in this wiki illustration field. Beside my busy time I tried to spend few hours in drawing in wikimedia. I will be very glad if any one get advantage from my amateur illustrations. If I can help you, please let me know. I will try my best. --FreemesM (talk) 03:31, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
It is not really "mine", I just fixed it! But I still think yours has better parts than the earlier one. I think I'll try to merge the two and then upload over yours at some point so that it gets into all the articles, and then request the earlier one be deleted as you say. It might be a long time though, as I'm getting busier and busier!
Also, although you may be an amateur, your work is really good! If you ever want some help, though, feel free to ask me, too, even though I'm just an amateur too. :P NikNaks talk - gallery 15:37, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
Merging will be a good idea. Please go for it.--FreemesM (talk) 02:56, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at 2013 Operation at Motijheel Shapla Chattar‎ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war.

Freemesm you are tying to destroy the 2013 Operation at Motijheel Shapla Chattar‎ page you have removed credible information with credible source. you should be blocked from editing' — Preceding unsigned comment added by LucrativeOffer (talkcontribs) 11:31, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Stop edit war and learn to use the talk page

You are trying to promote a nationalistic POV in the Bangladesh Liberation War article. I have edited the wordings from the standard international point of view. If you believe you are justified then first discuss it in the article's talk page. Sureshjj (talk) 13:31, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at 2013 Operation at Motijheel Shapla Chattar. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Bbb23 (talk) 15:24, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Dear EdJohnston and Bbb23, I think blocking my account will be injustice. Please see my edit log and decide whether you will block me for preventing an article from vandalism of a newly created account. Please check the contents which LucrativeOffer removed, but has lots of source[7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]. Unfortunately you didn't warn LucrativeOffer for his sourced content removal and pushing WP:NPOV. I am requesting to reconsider this issue again. Thanks.--FreemesM (talk) 15:35, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
:I should add that, I didn't know after reporting about any edit war, it is not authorized to edit them.--FreemesM (talk) 15:48, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Per below, plus WP:NOTTHEM. — Daniel Case (talk) 02:59, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your comments in the unblock are odd - seeing as User:LucrativeOffer was also blocked identically for this mutual edit-war. To say they weren't warned is ... odd. You also realize, therefor, that if you're unblocked, they will be too ... and that any similar edits post-block will lead to an immediate re-block the panda ₯’ 11:28, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
In addition, please read WP:NOTVAND - the edits you were reverting were not vandalism. That you're claiming they were is not helping your unblock request. - 11:52, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
DangerousPanda and The Bushranger Thanks for your clarification. Could you please have a look to this account [16]? Which starts editing from today, in specific that article, for which we were blocked. He is making that article WP:POV.--FreemesM (talk) 13:46, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
To reduce the chance of any block evasion on this article, I've applied semiprotection to 2013 Operation at Motijheel Shapla Chattar. EdJohnston (talk) 15:57, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
EdJohnston, I applied for page protection after edit warring [17], which was not systematic though. Anyway, thanks for that protection. I will take a look to that article tomorrow.--FreemesM (talk) 17:18, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

Your request for a third opinion

Hi Freemesm. I looked at your request at WP:3O for a third opinion on Talk:2013 Operation at Motijheel Shapla Chattar#Third opinion request. Unfortunately, that discussion is unsuitable for a third opinion, as three editors are already in the discussion. You may take it to WP:DRN if you wish. Also, if you file any further requests at WP:3O, please read the instructions carefully. Regards, Vanamonde93 (talk) 12:24, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
