Glee (season 3) episode list

Last fall, I attempted to codify when an episode ought to be listed in the Episodes section of the article on the article's Talk page. I didn't get any reply, but I took that as tacit approval, or at least a "this doesn't seem unreasonable, so why say anything" reaction. Of course, it could have been that no one looked at it at the time.

At any rate, Fox has just announced the upcoming schedule, at least as far as the Glee winter finale on February 21 (Regionals), and then the show leaves the schedule for the following six weeks, returning with an uninterrupted run of new episodes starting on April 10. (I'm still trying to figure out how they make up for losing January 24 to the State of the Union and get in their 22 episodes broadcast in time to piggyback onto the American Idol finale for episode 22 like they did the last two years. Doubtless all will be revealed.)

The Episodes section now has an entry for the April 10 episode. No title, no summary, nothing but the date and a citation for it. I removed it, based on the criteria on the talk page (and said so), but it's back. I'd appreciate it if you'd weigh in on the talk page on the criteria, and where (if anywhere) you think the April 10 date should be mentioned. I don't want to proceed if I'm being unreasonable on this one. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:51, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Have duly given my thoughts over there :) I don't think it's unreasonable at all, but that this may be a particular situation where an exception is warranted. Frickative 11:26, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for stopping by. I've replied there, and asked another question about your comment on the criteria; I hope you don't mind returning for another round. :-) BlueMoonset (talk) 05:33, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
There's a completely unusable (i.e., on an unreliable fan site) photo of what appears to be the script title page for that April 10 episode. I'm guessing we'll need to get reliable confirmation of each piece, even if it's likely to be real. (I suppose it could be a very clever forgery, and don't know enough about such items to be able to tell where it might go off the rails. Would reproducing that photo run afoul of the copyright notice on the bottom, do you think?) Hitchcock is certainly next in rotation for writer credit... BlueMoonset (talk) 18:00, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Three days later: Well, E! Online has just confirmed that they're shooting "Big Brother" now, but haven't stated that it will be the first episode back (so we can't connect it with April 10 on the season 3 page, though someone has tried), or mentioned writer or director. It was enough to create the redirect, however... BlueMoonset (talk) 18:47, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm happy to announce that we finally have more Glee GAs (72) thank B/C/Start/Stubs combined (71). I don't know how long this will last, but I'm going to enjoy it while it does. :-) We also just had another DYK on the front page... BlueMoonset (talk) 13:34, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Fantastic! I'm completely awed at how efficiently you've been turning this season's episodes into GAs, and I'm really looking forward to reading the most recent ones thoroughly when I get the chance :) I see we're down to only 9 stubs as well (8 if the Lindsay Pearce article doesn't survive AfD, and I'm not sure "Light Up the World" really warrants a standalone article, but that's an investigation for another time). I'm clearly not succeeding at managing anything remotely substantial lately, but pushing some of those up to start class might be a nice simple task to ease myself back in next month... Frickative 23:43, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
I'd love to have you back working in any capacity. It being the last week of the month already, I'm not surprised to see the words "next month", given how busy you usually are at this point. My efficiency is about to take a bit of a dent: while I think I can push through the rest of "Heart", I don't have the heart for "On My Way" just yet, and "The Spanish Teacher" doesn't excite me. I'm also in no rush to start up "Big Brother" (which is definitely the next episode), since it won't be airing for a month and a half. Hmm... this break may have arrived in the nick of time, I find myself resenting having to deal with far-from-ideal storyline updates to character articles; recent ones to Rachel made me cringe (maybe I can fix that article tonight or tomorrow night), and I couldn't not fix Blaine a few days ago. As for Lindsay, I did my best to give it the available information once the notability crew started circling; I think it should stick around, but if enough people don't then it goes away for a while; I don't have the energy to devote to beefing it up further, which sounds odd since she's vegan. ;-) (I suspect she's going to make it; she's getting good reviews in everything she does.) The ones who are truly crying out for destubbing are Kevin and Amber. I have to confess that I have minimal interest in actor articles; even characters are lower on my interest list than episodes.
I'd also be interested to hear what you think of my recent articles, when you get the chance to read them all the way through. I've not had any editing to speak of on the ones that went to GA, at least not line editing, and I've managed to keep the articles clean enough that Robert's had to make little in the way of grammatical edits. I rather suspect that a little editorial guidance would be in order: I could probably cut more than I do in the Reception sections.
Hope all is well, if busy, and definitely look forward to more sightings of your name on my Watchlist once we're past Leap Day. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:05, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Later: It occurs to me that once I've tackled "The Spanish Teacher" and "On My Way", assuming I manage to work them up—"Heart" is now a GAN and Robert has claimed it to review—that will leave "Sexy" as the only non-GA broadcast episode article. If we get to that point in March, can we tackle "Sexy" one way or the other? Whether it's you, a collaboration between us, or me alone, it would be very nice to have all 58 broadcast episode articles at GA before the back eight start airing. Any preferences or thoughts? BlueMoonset (talk) 16:10, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
I really really don't know why I've left "Sexy" sitting around for so long, so yes, a collab on getting that finished off would be great :) Wow, having all 58 episodes at GA with none in the pipeline would (will!) be fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing "On My Way" worked up – I was pretty much horrified by it, but I've only had chance to read the AV Club review, so I'm interested in what the other critics thought. And congrats on the latest GA with "Heart"! Frickative 23:34, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
Okay, collab next month. Let me know when you're looking at a bit more free time, and we can figure out what needs to be done and divide the spoils. I noticed today, when replacing broken Fox press release links with still-viable Futon Critic ones for the 2011 episodes, that I didn't need to do so on "Sexy" because there was no segment in Production about recurring guest stars! As for "Heart", I was just embarrassed to discover, when I went to it to crib a couple of lines about Rory's solo, "Homoe", that I'd neglected to write that song up! Needless to say, I fixed matters, and grabbed the appropriate links (the song was not well received: four reviews including three reviews, one "C" and two "C+"). I've already got all the links for "On My Way" (it brought Poniewozik and Fallon out of the woodwork), and my general impression seems to be that most folks through the first fifteen minutes were powerful, and the rest something of a mess, especially Regionals, which felt like an afterthought, though the scene with Kurt and Dave also got kudos. Thanks for the Stack article pointer; I'd actually seen it (and seen the tweets about it). Other impacts that probably can't be mentioned: Max Adler got 10,000 new Twitter followers overnight, and Grant Gustin about that many. (Amber Riley had a greater spike after "Heart" and her Whitney Houston cover.) Both of them did a round of interviews, but Adler's were all embargoed until the episode aired: he did at least half a dozen that I've seen, covering similar ground (but all "exclusive" for all that, because he was only talking to one interviewer at a time); I think Rae Votta of Billboard asked the most thoughtful questions and thus got the best interview of the bunch. BlueMoonset (talk) 11:12, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

I was just looking at "Sexy"—I see you were in there at the same time!—and as far as I can tell there's precious little left to do. The only section that needs work is Production: we discussed (see your Archive 9 for sources) the Stevie Nicks material that should be included, and you found some other germane stuff. Do you know of anything else? Is there any reason to reorganize the whole in the manner we've switched over to in the past year? This is quite close to GAN right now. I can start an edit at any time. I need a break from "The Spanish Teacher", where I'm two or three Critical reception paragraphs away from sending it into GAN, but they're ones that I just can't face right now. It was a busy February 29 (day's not over here, but it's March in Wikipedialand), and I need to take it easy. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:34, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

On second thought, I think I've been hasty: there's only one review of "Afternoon Delight" cited, and a narrower set of reviewers is used. I've just picked up Benigno (who likes that song far better than Gonzalez), and am about to go looking for Futterman and a couple of others. I've just started a resources list on the "Sexy" talk page, and will add to it as I find more. Guess there's more than just Production after all. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:27, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Ha, Rory's "Homoe" just gave me a good giggle :) And yup, the narrower reviewer pool is the main problem with "Sexy", but the ones you've drummed up look very promising. I may still have a few bookmarked from months ago, so I'll trawl through my Glee bookmark folder and see if there's anything to add. I should be free to dive in by this evening - and of course, any time you feel like starting yourself, feel free (maybe we should slap the {{in-use}} template on when we're working there, so we don't accidentally edit over one another?). Frickative 11:29, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Oops! Now that is an odd typo. :-) I also see that I wrote "reviews" twice, instead of using "grades" the second time. You'd think I'd woken up in the middle of the night and wasn't fully awake or something... :-) Can I just say how much I'm looking forward to working together on this? It may sound silly, and we'll probably wrap it up in a day or two, but even after yesterday's end-of-day edit exhaustion, I felt my spirits rise when I read your post this morning.
In the interests of avoiding duplication of effort, can you please let me know when you've checked your bookmarks? Obviously, I'll know if you add some, but no action could mean either a lack of new ones or that you haven't checked yet. :-) We should also figure out who should work on which sections: I was hoping you would take Production (among other things, I don't have the DVD yet, I'm embarrassed to admit, so you're the one who has access to the Stevie Nicks extra). Under those circumstances, I feel you ought to have the choice between updating Music and Critical response, so let me know your preference. Also, any thoughts on the separation of Reception and Music, and whether we ought to try to combine the two? BlueMoonset (talk) 15:02, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
PS: I've just looked over the article history, and it's clear that this has been your creation all along. As such, you're the one who decides when it's ready for GAN, and who gets the credit. I'm just helping a little with the final push. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:30, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Not silly at all, I'm really looking forward to this too! I'm done scouring my bookmarks (I really must sort them out properly, there are links still there from the time "Wheels" aired...). There were only 3 there, and likely only 1 of those will be of any use, but I also cross-checked against the list of regulars at WP:GLEE which yielded another half dozen articles. The only publications missing now, I believe, are CBS, the New York Post and USA Today, none of which are surprising. I'm very happy to take on Production, and uniting the Reception/Music sections seems wise - particularly as it means the Performances subsection can be bumped up to Production to pad that out a bit further. IIRC, this one was started off by DAP, who wrote a good chunk of Production and the majority of the music response section, so the final product really will be a true collaborative effort :) If it's okay with you, I'd rather work on the Critical response section, just because that's the one of the two I did the majority of before. And I just noticed that if we turn this one out within a week, we'll have beaten the episode's 1 year anniversary :) Frickative 23:41, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
That's perfect. I was thinking of asking for "Music and performances" because I always find those easier than "Critical response" (as witness "The Spanish Teacher", where the Music section is done and I'm stalled out on Critical after two paragraphs). I'll probably get started on Music tonight; I've already copied out the relevant passages from all the links, including the ones you just added. Let's definitely aim for finishing within the week. In fact, if we get it done enough before then, we could conceivably get it through GAN before the year is up, though Robert isn't on as long these days so it generally takes an extra day or two to complete a review. We'd have to be pretty quick. :-)
You'll be putting up the in use template when you're working directly on the article (and taking it off when you're done)? I'll be working in a file on my computer, and doing copy-paste into the editor when I have another chunk ready. Whoever gets there first can use the ref as it is on the website—which reminds me that there were a couple of minor spacing/formatting things to do on some of those refs; I should make the changes now... BlueMoonset (talk) 00:33, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Great! I'll use the in-use template when I'm working on Production, but I think I'm going to take Critical response first and work it over in a sandbox, then copy-paste too. Thanks for fixing the refs, I always forget the formatting :) Frickative 12:07, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
I moved a couple of sentences from Music to Production a little while ago, about the Nicks visit to the set and the Neon Trees bassist on Criss and "Animal". I only adjusted them slightly so they made sense in context (and did some minor reordering of other song material in that paragraph); it occurred to me that it might not even be necessary to mention Coachella or the bassist at all, but I thought I'd leave that decision up to you. I know you were planning on expanding the Nicks material. At any rate, I'm done in Production, so we shouldn't run into each other there; I need to start rewriting the Music material now that I have the new commentary sorted out. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:49, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Got An Idea

You have probably heard - probably within an hour of it happening - of Whitney Houston's passing. I was just looking through my music collection today at her tracks, and decided to read the prose at Whitney Houston discography. I have just now noticed that, while informative, it's poorly written. I know you're writing for Glee, but mind helping me on trying to polish this up for possible GA or FA status in the wake of her death? It'd be nice if, a year from now, her stuff can be featured in memorium on the front page that day.

It's getting later now today and I know better than to write now, so I'm going to take a first crack at a polish-up tomorrow, then I might take it to a review and get some critical opinion on what others think. There are so many sections in there that it will take some doing, and some patience, to get through it all, but I believe it can be done. (Hey, there are a lot of discographies as FLs, right?) CycloneGU (talk) 03:35, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Redated after being archived without reply.

I think getting Whitney to the main page is a really lovely idea :) Alas, the discography could only go to FL, which doesn't get a front page spot, so I don't know whether you'll want to select a different target? I'd like to pitch in if possible, but unfortunately can't make any promises - my last editing of real substance was probably back in September/October of last year, and I just haven't found the time or motivation to manage much of merit since. Added to that the fact that discographies and music-related articles aren't really in my comfort zone and it's a tricky one... but if I'm struck with a burst of free time and productivity, I'll try and lend a hand :) Frickative 23:43, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Five years in less than a week!

On February 21, you'll have been editing here regularly for five years. Congratulations! (I'm still working on my first year. ;-) )

As part of the celebration, you can reduce your To Do list by one: number 7 can safely be removed; it's been a little more than a week now since it achieved GA-ness. (And I see there's a DYK that you also need to be including in the appropriate place.) BlueMoonset (talk) 05:57, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm actually concerned here; she hasn't been around for three days. I might have to try an attention-getter at another site. CycloneGU (talk) 21:45, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
I hope it's nothing: she was gone for two one-week stretches and one two-week stretch in December, so I was assuming things got busy again. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:46, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Well, she's been online, so she must be busy. Waiting for ya here Frick. =) CycloneGU (talk) 02:27, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Oh good. I can only tell by her edits here; glad you have other avenues of reassurance. Just hope she stops in by next Tuesday! ;-) BlueMoonset (talk) 02:46, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Happy anniversary, Frickative. Hope you arrive in time to see it, or to start your next five years in fine style. ;-) BlueMoonset (talk) 22:16, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! I would have totally missed this if not for your message... quite a scary anniversary! (I just went back to check out my first edits five years ago, and got a chuckle out of the fact that they were adding fancruft and trivia sections - how times change.) I know I say this often and it rarely pans out, but I hope to be around more next month, and for the year (or five!) ahead :) Frickative 23:43, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
Glad to have been able to mark it: I see you arrived just in the nick of time! As for me, I've almost finished my eleventh month. Not sure whether I want to go back and see how bad my earliest edits were. I'll probably wait until the end of March, when I've been here for a year and my automatically improved Grognardesque qualities can help take the sting off. ;-) BlueMoonset (talk) 22:14, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Walking Dead character pages

Frickative, help yourself out. The more the merrier! :) At the moment, I was thinking about creating an article about Shane Walsh or Lori Grimes or just expanding the current Rick Grimes article. Any help would be very appreciated!—DAP388 (talk) 02:33 (UTC), 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Great! Shane and Lori should be good candidates for standalone articles - I'll probably jump in with one for Andrea in the near future :) Do you read the comics as well as watch the show, or have any of the production books? I'm hoping to buy The Walking Dead Chronicles and the new Cutting Room Floor book at the start of next month, which should hopefully have some useful stuff in. Frickative 11:29, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
I haven't read the comics actually. The show has definitely had me eying on investing in the comics, and writing the articles, it would come as very helpful.—DAP388 (talk) 20:44, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
They're definitely worth reading, I really enjoyed them (although I probably wouldn't recommend going through all 90+ issues in one weekend like I did!). But I can add comic plot summaries to the characters you're working on if you like :) Frickative 21:17, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
That would be excellent! :D—DAP388 (talk) 00:29, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

"Sexy" update

I thought it was probably time for an update on this and other matters Glee. :-)

I've finished my draft of the Music and performances section, moved appropriate material that had been there into Production, and am awaiting your next move. I didn't want to work on the lede until the Production and Critical reception sections were done, and I figured we ought to cross-edit—you copyedit and smooth my sections, and I do the same for yours—so whenever you're ready we can move ahead. Let me know what you think about the Gary Glitter paragraph: I don't see where else it could go, but I'm open to ideas. It's the one paragraph I didn't touch; I thought it was plenty big enough, so I didn't investigate those two sources you posted on the page.

There isn't a huge rush to get this to GAN, since there are a couple head of it: I've managed to finish off both "The Spanish Teacher" and "On My Way" this evening, and submit them to GAN in the hopes of becoming the 74th and 75th task force GAs. I dropped Robert a line in case he's interested in reviewing them, but he's spending less time on Wikipedia these days, so I have no idea how soon he'll log on next. (At the moment, none of the 47 "Episodes" articles on the GAN page is under review, so I'm hoping he'll be interested.)

Incidentally, to my embarrassment, it was only after I'd submitted the two articles that I realized I still needed to do a quick copyedit of both Plot sections, and expand the lede section for "On My Way". The latter article includes a writeup on the "impact" article you gave me the cite for, but I placed it in Production rather than as a separate section. Production seemed a little lean otherwise. I also didn't do any writeup of the material from the various Max Adler interviews that appeared that night, nor any of the Grant Gustin articles that preceded it; I suppose they could still be added later, but I didn't feel any particular need for including them prior to GAN. I'll probably grab a quote or two for the Dave Karofsky article to add under Development.

Lots of possibilities after that, though I don't feel drawn to anything in particular. There is a great deal that needs updating, and I do want to collate my materials on the upcoming episodes: they've just finished shooting episode 16, the "Saturday Night Fever" tribute, today. Let me know if you have any thoughts in particular. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 06:18, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Hey! Sorry I've let the side down on getting "Sexy" finished by today - it started off well, but real life is being pesky (moving house next week and packing is a nightmare!). I've only got two paragraphs of Critical response to finish off though, so I'll aim to complete that and Production over the weekend. I agree that the Gary Glitter paragraph is comprehensive enough as is, and I don't think the two Guardian articles add anything new to the coverage. I've read bits and pieces of "On My Way" as it's popped up on my watchlist but haven't read the whole thing through yet. I'm pleased to see the Karofsky storyline was lauded, and found the titbit about the texting plot originating almost two years ago very interesting :) Wrt updating, I saw the nudge at WP:GLEE, but I think we're of a similar mindset there, in that I've come to much prefer episode to character articles. With episodes, there's at least a limited pool of sources, while characters are covered so endlessly it's daunting to know where to even begin. I'll try and pitch in where I can with that though. I think my next big task is likely to be the awards list - it's mainly gnome work needed there, and it'd be nice to add a second FL before we hit 100 GAs. Frickative 23:16, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm quite sure we didn't set any deadline for finishing "Sexy", much less one of today, so there's no letting the side down involved. Especially as you're moving! Yikes! Best of luck packing and unpacking! Hope you like the new place a great deal.
As for "On My Way", the Critical reception section looks quite long, but they threw so much into that episode that I couldn't figure out what to cut. (Added another paragraph today, when I realized I hadn't written up the public service and product placement comments.) For the character articles, I think that for the reception and music sections we'll just need to be ruthless. For example, the recent music chunks for Mike and Quinn should be cut down instead of repeating an entire song paragraph from a particular episode... and I say so as the person who assembled those paragraphs originally. :-) Such sections need to hold together as a narrative, even if it's a "some worked but others didn't" sort of thing.
I'd love to see the second season article get to FL. Once you've brought the awards list up to speed, and given my attempts at ratings and critical response the once over, we should be just about there. I'm hoping the FLC is less daunting than an FAC, and take hope from the fact that the first season successfully made the leap to FL. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:47, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
A week later: Season three broadcast episodes are now all GAs, Glee's at 75 GAs total, and I'm at 25. :-) I hope you've survived (or are still surviving) your move. No rush on "Sexy"; I have plenty else to occupy me here at home. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:59, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Hello/Update!

Hey, Frickative. Just wanted to check in with you...its been awhile. I had to take somewhat of a short break, but I'm back to editing Wikipedia regularly. I haven't really done anything with WP:GLEE in a while. Has there been any progress with getting all the character articles up to GA quality? I know BlueMoonset has been putting a lot of time in on here and I noticed two new articles pop up: Rory Flanagan and Shannon Beiste. Nice work, guys! I might end up finally finishing off Santana Lopez. To be honest, I haven't been watching the show this season but I'm assuming there might be more sources out that that I can use to build up a "Characterization/Development" section and more than likely more "Reception" information can be added in. I also want to clean up some of the plot added by IP users and cite the proper sources for them. Hope all is well! HorrorFan121 (talk) 19:14, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

HF, welcome back! Forgive me for replying first, but Frickative is moving house sometime this week, so either she's just started unpacking, is frantically completing packing, or is in transit. So rather than you having to wait, I wanted to say how glad we are to see you right away. :-)
The character articles have taken a back seat to the episodes this season; JDDJS just pointed out on the task force talk page that a lot of them, even the strong ones, need updating to account for third season events. Clean-ups would be wonderful, if you have the time. As for the "to do" section of the task force page, you're still listed for Puck, and co-listed with Frickative on Santana. (Let me know if you want either of those to change.) One thing you should know about Santana: very much in the way Kurt took center stage in season two, Santana has done so in season three: lots more screen time, and more musical numbers, too. In fact, of all the seniors who will be graduating and also returning to the show in season four, the only four who have been confirmed to this point are Rachel, Finn, Kurt, and Santana. In fact, given her musical prominence this season, there will definitely need to be a "Music and performances" section for the article; let me know if you'd like me to put one together. (I'd basically be mining my own material for it, except for some of the season two stuff.) BlueMoonset (talk) 21:33, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! It's good to be back! :) I did notice the lack of references on some of them, especially Kurt's because we had built that up to almost FA status and it seemed odd there was a section without citations. Haha! That can be one of the first things that I start working on (clean up, addition of citations, etc. Basically an overall "Wikifying" to some of the new information). If that's the case with Santana, it shouldn't be a problem finding sources like last time...the lack of information put the potential GA nomination on hold. Did all the media publications confirm that those four were indeed going to be back next season? If so, we can insert that into those four pages with a potential quote (from Ryan, or somebody confirming) on the matter. HorrorFan121 (talk) 22:18, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
The lack of third-season Kurt storyline references were sheer laziness on my part; I figured there was plenty of time. I've corrected that lack, and gathered some material on third season reception and musical numbers, which I'll try to write up soon. Kurt's otherwise up to date now, as is Burt. I've also pulled together new musical info for Finn, though not reception or even storyline; the proposal/engagement/marriage plotline is major, and received a lot of (unfavorable) critical commentary. Since Beiste and Karofsky are up to date, that covers the five character GA articles I've been involved with. :-) Of course, there's a ton left to do in the other GAs, Bs, and Cs in characterland... BlueMoonset (talk) 00:03, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
That's great! The changes just popped up in my watchlist. I'm going to put more work into Quinn Fabray soon then start working on Santana. HorrorFan121 (talk) 14:56, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Hoping all's okay

Frickative, I hope you survived the move and are getting back to the point where you can afford to spend some time on line here. I also hope you're well and thriving in your new home. Check in when you can! BlueMoonset (talk) 00:32, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

And having said the above five days ago, I'm on the verge of being away for a couple of weeks. So if you do come back while I'm gone and all is chaos, try to restore a little order. :-) BlueMoonset (talk) 04:56, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
It's been over two months since we last saw you. I hope whatever you're doing, you're happy and enjoying life. If you can stop by just to say hello, please do. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:46, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Where have you gone Fricky? We all miss you! Hope you're ok! –anemoneprojectors– 17:41, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi!. I was amazed to read his story of rehab from alcoholism and drug addiction, and I was amazed to read how he turned his life around and became a good person. I just love him. And I would like to know whether or not categories Category:People self-identifying as alcoholics and Category:People self-identifying as substance abusers should be included in his article. You decide. Thank you. Timothyhere (talk) 21:26, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Over a year: you are missed

Frickative, it's hard to believe it's been over a year since you made your last edit. I wanted to post that we miss you, and hope some day you'll want to return.

Something scary: I remember you as having a huge number of edits, so many that I knew it would be a very long time before I came even close. Apparently, I passed you earlier this month: I'm just over 20,000 now. That seems backwards.

I hope all is well with you, that you're happy in whatever you're doing, and you're enjoying the home you moved into this time in 2012. Take excellent care. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:18, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, Frickative. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Lesbianism in British television".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 08:47, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
