dead-url[edit]

Hi just happened to notice your work adding cites and archives. There might be a misunderstanding about |dead-url=. It is used in conjunction with |archive-url=. If the |url= is dead and a |archive-url= has been added, set |dead-url=yes (Example). If |url= is live and an |archive-url= has been added set |dead-url=no. If the link is dead and there is no archive URL available, use {{dead link}} at the end of the citation (Example). Basically |dead-url= changes the order of the display of the archive and url:

  • "FundRace 2008". Huffington Post. Archived from the original on 2011-07-17. Retrieved 2019-08-20. {{cite web}}: |archive-date= / |archive-url= timestamp mismatch; 2011-07-16 suggested (help); Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)
  • "FundRace 2008". Huffington Post. Archived from the original on 2011-07-17. Retrieved 2019-08-20. {{cite web}}: |archive-date= / |archive-url= timestamp mismatch; 2011-07-16 suggested (help); Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)<

Otherwise it has no function. -- GreenC 00:12, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mast Brothers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vanity Fair (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:30, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
