Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:20, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers, thank you! Will do that as from now on. (Icla (talk) 01:22, 19 August 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Icla, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

All of the above is a standard form welcome message, but I thought it would be appropriate as you're indicating you might stick around. We have around 3.7 million articles, but another 21 million pages of one sort or another. It might take you a wee while to assimilate it all. I've been here for about eight years and have just about scratched the surface ;) --Tagishsimon (talk) 01:38, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Eight years, wow! Thank you for all the info and references! Will have a look at it in due time! And yay me, for being a Wikipedian! Cheers - (Icla (talk) 00:01, 22 August 2011 (UTC))[reply]
