Fever (Little Willie John song) revert

I see where you reverted my listing of Paul Revere & the Raiders from "other versions" on the Fever (Little Willie John song) page. As a new contributor I am looking for a reason so I can improve my contributions. I see the word "unsourced" in the revert. I physically have the album and the song is there. I could add a reference to the Allmusic page if that would take care of the issue. Please let me know. Frankzappatwin (talk) 11:01, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello Frank, that would definitely be good if you can use AllMusic reference. They are pretty reliable and welcome aboard. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 11:02, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

Kworbi

Hi, I hate to ask, but would you mind reporting Kworbi (again) for edit warring/disruptiveness. I would do it myself, but am swamped. If you can't that's completely fine, it's just they are wreaking havoc on AHS: Hotel and it's getting beyond ridiculous. If you need anything from me let me know. LLArrow (talk) 06:22, 22 October 2015 (UTC)

LLArrow I think WP:ANI is the place to do it now. Make sure you don't get into edit warring with him. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 14:47, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
I checked and the report you submited was dismissed, so I submitted another one, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:Kworbi_reported_by_User:LLArrow. Thought you'd might like to go and voice your opinion.

Just to be clear, the songwriting credits that I listed are legitimate and are all visible via the column browser on iTunes. It's not a simple thing to source as it's not simply a link that you can click on and go to see them but if you're aware of what the column browser is, they are there. I'm not somebody who adds false information. I think they should definitely be added back but I'm writing to you here because I don't want to keep being reverted if they're put back. MusicLover (talk) 09:59, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Musiclover, it is definitely not visible and the url had no notes indicating how to see them. You can add them back if you add a note regarding the visibility. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 10:32, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Re: Madonna edit on MDNA Toronto Shows.

I don't get why this hasn't been locked down. NY post has written a article stating Madonna's huge drop in ticket sales on Rebel Heart tour and they cite air canada center in Toronto . He pointed to her selling 7.5 million in tickets for 32,000 seats when that place for an end stage concert holds 14000 approx sand then points to rebel heart selling 3.5 million for two shows there. This would mean it would be half empty but of course every review is sold out considering the tickets were higher for rebel heart tourthismis mathematically I'm possible. Please fix it and lock it down. This on same day that billboard announces she is top tour for October SoWWMD (talk) 08:02, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

AB, I really don't give a damn by your continuous recreation of redirected articles and articles failing WP:NSONGS. Why can't you just work in your sandbox and recreate when you are done instead of creating stubs and expecting others to work on it? —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 20:00, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
Well, I am a big fan of your work, so I am sorry you feel that way about mine. Please keep in mind, we disagreed about "Sexxx Dreams", which is now a good article. And yes, I could work in my sandbox, but you could also be more considerate by allowing me to work on the article while I have an "under construction" tag at the top. Furthermore, if you were feeling particular generous, you could even exhibit Wikipedia's values by collaborating and assisting me by expanding the article. Just a thought, though certainly not an expectation at this point, given your above comments. Again, I am sorry you feel that way about my work. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:06, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
I know where the rent is due and give my hand, this is not the case, else I would have created it long back. You just don't seem to care that it wastes people's time and energy monitoring articles which are pretty much start class and will always be because they won't pass notability. I have nominated it for AFD now. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 20:09, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

About "Bad Blood" fan made artwork

I didn't upload the supposedly "fan made" solo artwork for Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," but if a reliable source states the image was a promo cover posted by Taylor's record label (Republic), would it still be fan made? Just wondering. OZODOR (Talk to me!) 00:24, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

Into the Groove is another one with the same problem. Bgwhite (talk) 00:12, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Bgwhite, what mistake are you talking about? I explained clearly. In "Angel" the template incorrectly links to PROMUSICAE, which DOES NOT contain chart peak for the song. Hence the book reference of Spanish Charts is to be used. If you are still not able to understand, I can't help it but I will NOT revert them. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 11:33, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

You've Gone Too Far (Part 2)

I am not displaying my so-called delusions on your talk page. The information is 100% factual. If you could just click on the link and simply search for her name, or even her album name for Pete's sake, you will find what I have been saying for the past 24 hours. You don't have any right to delete factual information that has verifiable sources. Stop this miscommunication immediately, please! Carbrera (talk) 23:14, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Good lord, the album received the award for packaging, she didn't. Is it clear? Grammy itself supports what I said, again go an admin for all I care, but don't even dare to add false content. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 11:13, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Just so that everyone can see what liar you are THIS source no where says Madonna's name for recording package. It says Best Recording Package: "Ray of Light," Kevin Reagan, art director. It did not go to Madonna. And THAT is supported by Grammy.com, the primary source also. If you search for Kevin Reagan, you can see the Ray of Light award unde HIS name, not MADONNA's. Do I make myself pretty clear? —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 11:30, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
But HER album still received the award, which means HER music received the award, and that list shows what herself and what HER music has won. Why must you repeatedly remove my edits and convict me of vandalism when we can still talk this out instead of you resorting to moving this to your archive page? Let's get somewhere please! Carbrera (talk) 14:04, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
By the way, I am also not a liar. Allow me to repeat what I said in quotes: "simply search for her name, or even her album name". Carbrera (talk) 14:06, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
The award list is for Madonna, and it clearly says that Madonna did NOT receive the award. End of discussion. Don't come to my talk page I already said before if you do not understand simple sources. The list shows areas where Madonna received the award even if the album is nominated. Grammy award for recording package is NOT the case. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 14:12, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
I recently went on some other 'list of awards' pages to see whether or not the artists had that particular award displayed. In the case of Björk, the award IS included on the page, but it is instead listed as a note below her award chart. This should definitely be considered a possibility for her page, due to the fact that her music did receive said awards, but you have neglected to notice. Carbrera (talk) 17:12, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
For now, I am bringing this to the attention of an administrator. I would like to here what other people have to say before you make the final decision. Carbrera (talk) 17:14, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help this dispute come to a resolution. Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you!

I am not the filing party, however this is in regards to a content dispute at an article related to awards received by Madonna. Participation is voluntary, just let us (DRN Volunteers) know if you do or don't wish to be involved. Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 06:23, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

DRN comment

Hi IndianBio, just wanted to clarify something you expressed some confusion about in your comment:

Anyways, this is already being discussed in talk page with other editors, I have no clue why DRN was approached.

DRN is one of the next steps in resolving a dispute between editors, of talkpage discussions are getting nowhere or break down. DRN deals specifically with content disputes such as the current case you are involved in. See WP:DR for more information on the dispute resolution processes and to find links to the specific processes available to editors. Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 12:06, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

Drcrazy102 thanks for explaining, but the thing is that the talk page discussion is going somewhere. The user in question who raised the DRN did it side by side of raising the talk page discussion. Correct me if I'm wrong, we go to DRN when we see that talk page discussion is inconclusive right? Other editors have also commented on this issue and talk page discussion is processing. That's why I commented that DRN is not needed yet. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 14:01, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
That is true IndianBio, DRN is primarily for when discussions between users reach either a stalemate or become too heated to continue without defusing the problem. Another volunteer may choose to reject the case for exactly the reason above of the discussion being too premature to be raised at DRN. If I get a spare minute later today I may recommend or raise such an idea / concern. Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 03:42, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Just checked the DRN page and the case has been closed with an implied recommendation for either more discussion or for the filing party to drop the stick due to consensus. Good luck; Cheers, Drcrazy102 (talk) 03:50, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

Rebel Heart certification in Mexico

Hi IndianBio,

Amprofon published a Gold certification for Rebel Heart on its Facebook page:

About my edit

I don't see how my contribution to Music (Madonna song) was inappropriate. I am simply replacing the previous version with a higher quality version that I have sourced from a cover art database. I do not intend to continuously replace this image over and over. Also I have kept the resolution of the newer image to a minimum of 400px. I would appreciate it if my edits were not rudely deleted and reverted back and I would also appreciate not receiving threats of being blocked. Unlike you, I am a new user who is trying to abide by the rules and I do not wish to be preyed upon by arrogant Wiki users.

Beautiful Stranger

You do not own the page "Beautiful Stranger". It is actually up for other editing. My editing is well-cited from professional sources such as Billboard Magazine itself. My edit also sounds like it was written by someone who actually knows how to write at a professional level instead of my a high schooler. I provided plenty of relevant information and really made this page "pop". By the way, the US Pop Songs Chart reference (AKA the Mainstream Top 40) is pop music's main chart. And as the pop song that "Beautiful Stranger" is and the influence of the Pop Songs chart on the radio, it is certainly a relevant addition. Look at any other mainstream single -- it will include a Mainstream Top 40 reference. Hope this explains things. Oh really? Source from where and where are these wonderful sources placed in the article? Please stop adding a bunch of WP:OR based on your "popping" logic else administrators will surely look into it. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 09:59, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

They can definitely look into it, because it's going to stay. I have just as much as of a right to editing the page as you or anyone else. It can't just be your way. I haven't used WP:OR at all. You still have yet to provide specific examples of that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ilovebeth1994 (talkcontribs) 19:56, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Do I need to show what kind of OR your edit is?
  • Firstly you added stuff like "Madonna had previously collaborated with Orbit on her critically acclaimed album Ray of Light (1998), and would later collaborate with him on her albums Music (2000) and MDNA (2012)" which has no relation to this article at all.
  • Secondly, you added ""Beautiful Stranger" is a dance-pop song with electronic and psychedelic rock" which is absolutely not sourced anywhere in the article.
  • The only good edit was the second para which if you see I had actually kept before you did a blind revert. Open your eyes for a moment and check the revert. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 20:21, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

Adding additional info about Madonna's collaborations with Orbit is relevant to this article, considering the song was written by him. There is nothing wrong with further informing readers. Second of all, I the song is an homage to 60s psychedelic rock, which is evident in it's instrumentation, riff, and final 45 seconds of the song. I will appropriately source that for you! Specifically, it is heavily reminiscent of "She Comes in Colors" by Love. There is no reason to be so anti-anything you write. Get over yourself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ilovebeth1994 (talkcontribs) 01:26, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

I am glad we were able to compromise on Beautiful Stranger. I think that the page looks the best it has ever looked. Thanks, IndianBio — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ilovebeth1994 (talkcontribs) 15:29, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Nominated work

Hi! I noticed you are against adding AHS' name in Lady Gaga awards list as she has been nominated for Best Actress, and not the television series. But since the list is on accolades received by Gaga, of course everyone knows that it is Gaga who has been nominated not Ryan Murphy or Hotel for Best Actress. It's just a reference to the work responsible for her nomination of best actress (she wouldn't be nominated for Best Actress if she did not star in the show). Even this source (in the list) gives credit to Hotel for her nomination. We can also have a look on List of awards and nominations received by Leonardo DiCaprio (and other similar lists); DiCaprio's work are listed for his Best Actor (and Supporting Actor) nominations and not himself. I hope you understand, thank you. -- Frankie talk 09:14, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
