Hey, IB! Great work on the ArtRave expansion. I hope you don't mind--I requested a copy edit from the Guild of Copy Editors, which I now do for all of the articles I intend to promote to GA status. I could have used an edit summary, but since it was back to back edits, it simply didn't feel necessary. I have edited like that many times before, and I will continue to edit like this in the future. There is nothing bad faith about it, and I have no idea how you came to that conclusion. This is a simple content dispute, and I honestly don't care enough about the content to continue disputing about it. However, your jump to assume bad faith does concern me. - Can you name a specific policy or guideline that I violated? I edit like this all the time and the worst I have been accused of edit warring (sometimes rightly so other times not). Candy Shop & Like a Prayer
Hello IndianBio, how are you? Hope you had a nice Xmas. Just dropping by to tell you that I made the corrections that were pointed out in the Good review of "Candy Shop", if you want to take a look :) I couldn't do the broken-link thing as I'm unfamiliar as to how to do it. I also wanted to ask if you needed help on the Like a Prayer article. I noticed Bluesatellite decided to not work on it after all, glad to see you decided to take over. Seeing as how I began the improvement of that article (Lol if you can call it that, I would like to help in anyway I can). I wanted to mention you, that I believe we should change the image of the cd's cover, the current one is in a pretty low resolution compared to others, but after reading how a suckpoppet caused trouble on that particular issue, I decided not to go through until I got another user's opinion. - Hi @SNUGGUMS:, the Facebook AMPROFON page is a verified page, since the certifications updated there are ultimately reflected in AMPROFON database. However, the twitter account does not show that it is a verified account from Twitter, and there are times I have seen it retweeting links from Record Company proclamations, instead of announcing their own certification. Madonna Vogue Single
Hi in regards to Vogue the information came from Billboard Magazine issue April 7th 1990 from the Inside Track section on Page 92 available here http://americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Billboard/90s/1990/BB-1990-04-07.pdf It states Vogue was released to radio Mar 27th 2 days before its scheduled release as a single.
I also have several newspapers stating Vogue both the single and video dropped the same day March 29th 1990 (these are newspapers from 1990, however they are password protected) Although this date is correct and March 20th is definitely wrong, I have no other evidence I can link on wikipedia, so if the billboard issue is not enough than I will leave the date as March 20th. I personally think the ones we have for DWT are oK (they could be better, l agree), but i'm glad with what we have. Though if we could find some Virgin Tour ones, now that would be amazing! - As good as those pics in Flickr are, they're all getty pictures, the user on flickr does not own them.
