WP:UNDUE violations

Quid pro quo reviews

I've replied on the page. Why do I have a feeling this has to do with my Once Upon a Time-Givors canal GA reviews with Soham?... You're welcome to ask me to review an article for GA and can trust me to perform a neutral, fairly critical review!♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:37, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

A reference problem

Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.

Here you added a new reference blue-ray but didn't define it. This has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. "Cite error: The named reference REFNAME was invoked but never defined (see the help page)." Can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Thanks -- Frze > talk 08:09, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks I corrected it. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 08:37, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Would you please take care of Under My Skin (Avril Lavigne album)? Better check those unreliable genre tags and others. If those who change (repeatedly) "pop rock, alternative rock" (which same order as it's typed in source) to "alternative rock, pop rock" in the infobox, then revert it back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.171.177.43 (talk) 13:05, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Who's that girl LEAD

Good morning. I honestly feel that the second paragraph should not be in the LEAD section. It gives too specific details,w hich sould be in their correspondent sections. For example, the fact that the shooting was stopped in December due to snow, is a very specific detail and it has not such a big importance to be in the LEAD, as I see the LED as a summary of the article and/or subject of the page. Thanks for everything. Johnnyboytoy (talk) 12:52, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

The Monster Ball Tour

Hello! I wanted to thank you for pointing out the article mentioned above. Combining the box office table with the tour dates is going to be tricky and hard. I recently looked through older revisions and noticed that a lot of box office data was removed over time and that most of it was changed (by Lady Gaga fans). Revert of my edit on "Secret (Madonna song)"

Hi! I saw that you reverted my edit on "Secret" which added "(credited later)" about Shep Pettibone's writing credit in the infobox. The information was already added for David Torn in "What It Feels Like for a Girl" and Ingrid Chavez for "Justify My Love" and I planned to do the same for the Erotica songs also written by Tony Shimkin ("Erotica", "Bad Girl" and "Bye Bye Baby"). Do you think that I should do that or simply delete them and explain it in the articles? Have a nice day. Amzer (talk) 19:09, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Updates for Amish Tripathi, The Immortals of meluha, The Secret of the nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras

Hello, Since I never got your mail, have posted all the updates to be done here.

Following are the updates.

  1. In the Amish Tripathi Wikipedia page in the Adaptations it says, The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras have been released in the Indian subcontinent in various languages.[22][23]

Also include “around the world”. So the sentence will be “The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras have been released in the Indian subcontinent and around the world in various languages. (please add the 2 earlier sources as they are same.)

  1. In the career section of Amish Tripathi’s wiki page Second paragraph. Each of the books should be linked to their respective wiki pages. So, can you also Link The Immortals of Meluha just like The Secret of the Nagas and the Oath of the Vayuputras have been linked so that one will be navigated to the official wiki page of The immortals of meluha as well. (just an improvement)
  1. In the commercial section of the wiki pages of each of the books The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of The vayuputras can you update the number of language editions just the way it has been done for the Amish Tripathi official wiki page.
  • Immortals Pg : The Immortals of Meluha is available in 12 languages

English (South Asia), Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Bahasa Indonesian, Tamil and English (UK).

  • Nagas Pg: The Secret of the Nagas is available in 7 languages

English (South Asia), Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, English (UK) and Telugu.

  • Vayuputras Pg: The Oath of the Vayuputras is available in 3 languages

English (South Asia), Hindi, Telugu.

And also can you add a new section of Adaptations just like the Official page of Author Amish. And update the language editions accordingly.

Source for no.3: http://www.thisweekbangalore.com/released-in-several-regional-languages-amishs-shiva-trilogy-is-the-fastest-selling-book-series-in-indian-publishing-history/

Kindly please update the respective pages at the earliest. Thank you for your support!

Josh_Hutcherson

Hi, I just looked at the above as it is about to appear on the MP as a result of it becoming GA. I thought I would let you know I have reservations about the quality of the prose. I have already removed some text in the article, but there are other problems. For example, I feel there is excess detail about the critical appraisal and technical merits (or otherwise) of Polar Express, as these factors are completely unrelated to his performance, and well outside Hutcherson's control, so I think should be removed. I won't bore you any more for now. Some of the issues I had reservations about were dealt with by me here. Regards, -- Ohc ¡digame! 03:26, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

Revert of my edit on Applause (Lady Gaga song) (chord progression)

Hi, months ago you reverted an edit I had made to the chord progression section for Applause. I never quite understood why, as to my mind not only is the Gm progression correct, but also clearly what is in the source given by the unsigned commenter on the Talk Page. The article gives a chord progression with the song transposed into the key of E minor, however G minor is the original key, as the article itself states in the very same sentence. This is what I was trying to correct.

Hi, this isn't a war to happen and it will never be. I'm just following the basic format of all the other music articles... Okay I'm trying to be perfectionist at it but it might not be working that much. Can you recommend me about some VERY professional and advanced users that will help me to write a well articulated structure for You're Mine (Eternal) just like This one. Thank you fidelovkurt 10:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

The thing, you have never taken the onus to learn which you should @Fidelove:, people have left warnings in your talk page where there are links present to Wikipedia manual of styles. I suggest you go through them. And most importantly, the sole reason I had to leave those warnings (which I seriously didn't like to do) was because you copied external copyrighted sources, word by word and made it quotes. There are limitations to which we can copy and paste, you have to write them in your own words. As for the other article pointed out, why don't you see who edits them regularly and contact them? You are trying to improve the article, however in it you are releasing so many other issues that it is actually degrading the article. Remember a stub article is better than an article which is a copyright violation. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:47, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Okay, Now I understand this, I will try to improve this page more professionally. Now most importantly I will add the section, live performances where Carey debuted the song at the BET honors show and it will debut on TV by Feb 25, 2014. Is that Fine ?fidelovkurt 10:52, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
That is fine, as long as you provide reliable sources and write the section in your own word. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:56, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Katy Perry PRISM

Hi there,

It's great to meet you. :) Can you edit PRISM so that the singles section can say that 'International Smile' was a single in Australia's radio? I heard it today, like really, on the radio! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.41.161 (talk) 10:31, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

That would need a source, without which it won't be added, sorry. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:50, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
