IsabpcGood is my friend who thought it would be funny to start screwing around and trying to get me blocked by adding online alias 'Isabpc' to the South Windsor Connecticut wikipedia page. I'm actually trying to contribute to wikipedia and my friend is trying to ruin that. It's not me on both accounts, its me (Isabpc) and my friend (IsabpcGood) I'm sorry if thats what it looked like, and I would've made the same decision as you. Sorry for the misunderstanding.' How was I supposed to know what he would do? It was literally my first day of using wikipedia, I don't know if you understood what happened, he created an account to try to impersonate me, i wasn't planning on rethinking our friendship because he kinda jsut did it out of the blue[[[User:Isabpc|Isabpc]] (talk) 22:01, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

I had no clue that my friend at the time would create the account and try to "ruin my ability to use Wikipedia" It's out of my ability to make him stop, even though I had told him NUMEROUS times to do so and even righted HIS wrongs by undoing what he did and then told him kindly and the other Wikipedia admins that what he did was wrong. I'm sorry if this wasted your time or made you guys confused. this was a misunderstanding and I hope you can give me a second chance and you have all the rights to block me if I do anything wrong. I will continue to do the right thing and help edit and add to the Connecticut wikipedia pages.

The more I read this the less sense it makes. So your friend creates an account, gets blocked ... but then you're using it to request unblock? How is it that you know the password if he created it?

This is actually a grave issue for us. Our general rule has always been "one user, one account"—unblocking this one would, from what you have told us, restore to full use an account which two people (well, at least two people) have been known to use. We're not doing that.

It really sounds like the only thing we can say is that this account is compromised, so we will have to leave it blocked. If you are truly sincere in what you tell us, you'd be better off starting a new account with a new password, and disclosing this sordid affair over there so we know you're not trying to pull one over on us. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:32, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Again, to make this clear, I created THIS account and my friend created isabpcgood to try to impersonate ME, It was not compromised, and this isnt a sockpuppet account, Isabpc and Isabpcgood are two separate accounts, Isabpc, which was created by me in which I did nothing to ruin Wikipedia, and my friend, who, unfortunately had an eerily similar name as mine, did, in fact do bad things to wikipedia, Not me. Again. Nobody has hacked my account, My friend copied my name and ruined wikipedia, Not me.

I would like to express my deepest apologies for the recent incident where my friend IsabpcGood impersonated my account and made inappropriate changes to Wikipedia articles. I want to clarify that I had no involvement in these actions and I take full responsibility for not telling him off for doing so. I understand that these actions are against Wikipedia's policies, and I am willing to cooperate with the moderators to rectify the situation. I assure you that this will not happen again, and I will take all necessary measures to prevent people from impersonating me in the future. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and I hope that you will consider unblocking my account so that I can continue to contribute positively to the Wikipedia community. I have tried to appeal my ban which hasn't been answered for weeks and I do not want to create a new account, do I have to create a new account because I was banned for sockpuppeting?
