Signature[edit]

Hi. I really like your signature, however it is at the limit for signature length. Currently it is 'legal' however please do not make it any longer. For futher reading please read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:SIGNATURE . Thanks for your help in this matter. Djminisite - Talk | Sign 19:19, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, yours is almost just as long! Haha. Well, I'll take a look into it, and see what I can do. Sorry if it caused any problems. Jaredt  03:22, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you signed up for the BUPC. However, registration for normal contests are over, with the championships being the only activity one can play in. You can judge the userpages of these champions for yourself at this championship. Season one of BUPC ends soon, however you can participate in season two which starts about a month later. Thanks. TFA/R revamping[edit]

I am just noticing a lengthy discussion I missed about TFA/R revamping a few months back. The whole Raul fan club seems to have gotten involved. Raul actually does a tremendous job, but I think the process could be improved. I proposed something about 5 months ago at Wikipedia:Today's_featured_article/amendment_proposal. I am now not sure how one gets on the main page. It looks like the whole request system has died except for a few select dates. The article I want to get onto the main page, Chicago Board of Trade Building has a June anniversary, so I have to hope space frees up in May or June so I can get on this impossible to get onto request page. What are your thoughts on the current state of WP:TFA.TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:35, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Wrestling 2008.gif[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Wrestling 2008.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:52, 6 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. KipSmithers T/C 00:52, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sports Olympics/archive02, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sports Olympics/archive02 is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Sports Olympics/archive02, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Athletics 2008.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Athletics 2008.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:2012 Olympic bid opposers.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:2012 Olympic bid opposers.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:32, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
