Please make sure your facts are straight before contacting me again. I have long been an editor of this page and those initial tornado strikes were well sourced when initially posted. Readyville[edit]

While I have no doubt concerning the destruction of the mill and damage to the house, nor of your sincere wish to contribute to the encyclopedia, I've suspended your ability to edit the Readyville topics so that you can find reliable sourcing in published media to cite for the encyclopedia article. This is necessary because future editors or readers will need to be able to look at those published reports in ten, twenty, a hundred years to find more context and to guide research. Eyewitness reports are ephemeral, and your eyewitness context will not be readily visible in the article history. I'm certain documentation will appear in preservation-related publications in the coming weeks and months. You and the Readyville community have my sincere sympathy for the destruction you've been able to document, and we thank you for your efforts. We have time to do it right - Wikipedia is not the news, and we don';t have deadlines, so please slow down, use the article talkpages, and work with experienced editors to find sources and to write an appropriate encyclopedic summary.
