- Is this a new policy that personal names cannot have "unsourced" IPA pronounciations provided? For Courtois we had a discussion back in 2015 after which it was added. How exactly does it make Wikipedia a better place to not provide a pronounciation for names that are not trivial to pronounce? I mean it is quite trivial for a native speaker to pronounce a name of his native language, no real risk in allowing those to remain unsourced. Have you looked at Danish people's names? Those are entirely impossible to get right with no IPA key given.
