Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Amtzwiki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 15:57, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023[edit]

Information icon

Hello Amtzwiki. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Jitendra Sharma, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Amtzwiki. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Amtzwiki|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Wikishovel (talk) 10:23, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I need help in this account, I'm working at AMTZ, and created article for Dr. Jitendra Sharma (MD & Founder CEO of AMTZ). My sole objective in contributing to Wikipedia is to provide valuable information for the public's benefit, to know more about Dr. Jitendra Sharma.
If this comes under paid contribution, then I'm ready to disclose my employer, client and affiliation.
Also, my account has been blocked due to sockpuppet. I just asked another wiki friend to make edit in this article, as I was suggested, not to make any change by own. Instead ask others. Kindly Help me in this.
Thanks & Regards, Karmja (talk) 08:10, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jitendra Sharma moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Jitendra Sharma. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 11:07, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help me with "it needs more sources to establish notability" though I have added relevant citation. Also suggest me where i need to improve this so that it does not look like an advertisement. Amtzwiki (talk) 11:11, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized here.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. UtherSRG (talk) 12:09, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

my username gives the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website. Amtzwiki (talk) 13:12, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Accept reason:

Renamed and unblocked. Please be warned, you've been violating WP:COI and WP:PROMO. Your very next action must be to declare your conflict of interest on your user page, and you must immediately stop your promotional editing. As a general rule of thumb, you should avoid writing about subject areas for which you have a conflict of interest, though you are free to suggest edits on article talk pages. Decline reason:

As a WP:SOCK, you will have to request being unblocked on your original account. It seems you have not read the guide to appealing blocks. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:41, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
