Released players[edit]

In the English system, contracts end on 30 June (so players leave clubs on that date) and begin on 1 July (so players join new clubs on that date). Please wait until those dates before editing. GiantSnowman 19:25, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised - 'end' dates should not be added until 30 June, when the player will leave the club. GiantSnowman 19:41, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Egghead06. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carl Jenkinson, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Egghead06 (talk) 05:17, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox stats[edit]

Please note that we only include domestic league games in the infobox - so no Cup or Continental matches etc. Please also ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 14:13, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox timestamps[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:33, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you not understand that you need to update the time as well as the date? Please note that competence is required to edit Wikipedia. If you cannot edit properly, you will likely end up blocked again. GiantSnowman 20:49, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • An aggravating factor is your complete refusal to communicate, either via edit summaries or on article and user talk pages. Drmies (talk) 16:50, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't aware that you had to include the time as well as the date, apologies for this. I have never put anything that is deliberately wrong, and I always try to provide sources, I would appreciate being unbanned as I like edited Wikipedia with correct information, mainly after football games or transfers. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022–23 Carlisle United F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joel Senior. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
