62nd Oscars

Hi there.

I was wondering if you will be could proofread: Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/62nd Academy Awards/archive1. Please note that because of some limitations on older Oscar ceremonies, this list follows the 1st Academy Awards format done by User:Tbhotch rather than others such like the 82nd Academy Awards and such. I would be grateful for the extra help and support. Thanks.

Your GA nomination of Deepika Padukone

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Deepika Padukone you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. I am. It's one of my favourite films of all time. --smarojit HD 01:36, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Wow, bro! You blow my mind at how committed you are! 6 hours back-to-back on her page! Anyways, good work and good luck! :D I might check over the article when I can for any errors :) AB01 (talk) 11:17, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Hey, I changed the article a bit, though this was reverted by you before. But, I think it should be ok like this because:
-Break ke Baad got mixed not mostly positive reviews.
-The Housefull review talks about the three ladies together, and I remember before a Race 2 review mentioning both Deepika and Jacqueline's performance was reverted before here, so I think this is a better review since it talks specifically on Deepika's performance.
Is that alright? AB01 (talk) 06:53, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks :) AB01 (talk) 11:12, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Alright, I'm sorry AB01 (talk) 06:27, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Yep, I understand, mate! AB01 (talk) 06:35, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks :) I'll ask if I need help. Yeah, I know...there's a lot of work needed on that article...only the Career section is adequate so far. I don't know if I'll get time to work on it anytime soon tho. So behind in my uni work!! Procrastination is my middle name, hahaha. Btw, what's with the name change? AB01 (talk) 06:44, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

Yay! Deepika's an FA article. Great work, dude! :D AB01 (talk) 02:12, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay, but this is for bringing Deepika Padukone to GA status. Keep it up! Kailash29792 (talk) 06:02, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. Much appreciated. :) --smarojit HD 09:58, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Padukone is looking excellent seems ready for FA on what I've read so far, but I'll continue to go through it and make minor edits and additions. Can you review Hooray Henry for me? It is only a slang term, but seems to now be of reasonable quality and comprehension.♦Dr. Blofeld 10:26, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

Having trouble emailing you, I've had a few Mailer Daemon messages last few days.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:09, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Archiving

I see u r using WebCite to archive the URL's in Deepika Padukone to avoid dead links. But I also think u r aware that WebCite is at the verge of being shut down, because of which even the archived links may disappear? Pls try using the Wayback Machine as an alternative. I am not commanding u, I'm just bettering the article's chance of becoming a FA. ---- Kailash29792(talk) 05:00, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the message. Actaully, WebCite is not shutting down but will stop accepting new admissions (that is, if they don't get enough funds). Either way, the archived links will stay. Cheers! :) --smarojit HD 05:03, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Just curious

What does HD mean? You are definitely not available in High Definition. - Vivvt (Talk) 23:58, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Hahahaha, oh I am definitely available in High Definition. :D --smarojit HD 04:45, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
I believe you meant 3D. :D - Vivvt (Talk) 04:49, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
LOL, yeah 3D too. And sometimes even IMAX!! Hahhahaha. --smarojit HD 04:54, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
Hahaha. Include Dolby and that would make it a perfect combination. Btw, What does HD mean anyway? - Vivvt (Talk) 05:02, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
It actually means High Definition, nothing else. Was just trying something new with my signature. :) --smarojit HD 05:08, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
Gotchu\a. Am I the first or only one to ask this stupid question? :O - Vivvt (Talk) 05:30, 6 October 2013 (UTC)

Next stop, TFA?

Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of Deepika Padukone to FA status recently. If you would like to see this (or any other FA you may have helped to write) appear as "Today's featured article" soon, please nominate it at the requests page; if you'd like to see an FA on a particular date in the next year or so, please add it to the "pending" list. In the absence of a request, the article may end up being picked at any time (although with 1,335 articles in Category:Featured articles that have not appeared on the main page at present, there's no telling how long –or short! – the wait might be). If you'd got any TFA-related questions or problems, please let me know. BencherliteTalk 10:12, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Thank you so much Bencherlite. Actually, an article that I have contributed to (Vidya Balan) had previously featured on the main page. So I am kinda aware of the rules. But, thanks again. :) As for Padukone, I have left a message on User talk: Dr. Blofeld's page regarding a suitable date for featuring this one. --krimuk 90 02:11, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Hey Krimuk (new name?), hope you are alright, and also congrats for your FA success on Deepika Padukone. Anyways, I will retire on Thursday, because I don't have time to edit Wikipedia and also greatly lost interest. But don't worry, I will return, but don't know when. Thanks for being such a great and kind friend.--Jionpedia 18:59, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Katrina Kaif

Heyyy! I was wondering if you could help me with something in her article..in the Namastey London section, I've wrote:

Despite these films doing well at the box office, Kaif's roles were overlooked as the general perception from critics was that the films did not allow "much for the women to do" and that Kaif was "nothing more than [a] glamourous prop" in her appearances.[1][2][3]

I couldn't find ONE reference speaking collectively on these three films (and how she was just eye candy in these movies), so I was wondering if these references were the correct way to go. What do you think? AB01 (talk) 10:30, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

I know it's hard finding "one" reliable source for such claims. I had a similar problem with the Padukone article. It's fine the way it is now...but try looking at other articles. I'll try to look at Google Books and Highbeam too. --krimuk 90 01:22, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks :) AB01 (talk) 04:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

What's this kreepy name?

That's a peculiar name, krimuk! Sounds like krimi.--Dwaipayan (talk) 20:54, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

LMAO! Krimi. That's just hilarious. Krimuk really doesn't mean anything. It just sounds funny, so changed it to that. :P --krimuk 90 01:24, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
