Follow the guidelines at Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) to help avoid promotional content, and deletion. All companies sell something or provide some service - but it needs to be notable. Most companies are generally not notable in a worldly sense and do not meet out criteria. Because Wikipedia is not a business directory we cannot allow every company to have a page simply because it exists.
